I agree with you both.
The figures that are discussed in the industry tends to be large tranches and as said- a seed trial of $15m is not worth ii's time or expense, if it wasn't with the view to commit a substantially higher amount upon proof of concept!
Other points that anyone looking at this company should know are:
- when we/algw mention ii, it isn't a small or even large investor, but rather multinatiinal funds and businesses with billions of dollars in assets. For this reason my next point is essential
- #ALGW is not on AIM it is a main board company and as such is held to. Much higher standard and proper ii's, pension funds and hedge funds do not invest outside of main board listed companies
The advantage to us retail investors is that (unlike AIM) main board shares re properly regulated and as such the FCA does take this market seriously!

Moonglow- I have as many as I can afford (at moment) but as you say, this will do very well and would go a very long way towards a very significant financial boost!
This is a millionaire and multi millionaire making proposition imo

Moonglow- the number of shares available, really make this a difficult pie to get a crumb from when the news arrives
I could see #ALGW opening at an instant 6p on the day news lands (if a 7am rns)

I have spoken to GS on a few occasions and in the last conversation he told me that the figures being talked about are $50m- $100m per contract.
If this is the case, it is huge!
I also believe that we are very close to news and this would not be measured in months, but rather weeks or even days!
Not sure where how many contracts will land, but do believe that it will be like the proverbial waiting for a bus- when one comes several come together or soon after each other.

First buys! They look like sells at 1.59 but are buys!

We are expecting news at any point from today onwards for the next few weeks.
I believe that ii's see this very much as a good return safe heaven for their money as the stock market and global economic concerns are very much on IIs'.
Small retail investors have an opportunity here and this will at least bag from this point before any news.

Barney- it's important that you do your own research, but the hybrid product SLS industry is seen as a safe heaven for ii's who want good return.
Current global economic concerns and concerns that markets re over heating will add even more value to this.
The average return on these products is 15% and is secured on life insurance policies that are bought from people at a stage in their later life where they either do not have a need for the policy or need to realise money from its value.
I would imagine that is similar to equity release! Except it doesn't have the fluctuations or Costa involved with property.
I find this will do very well and the very low free float of shares and the fact that even today over 3m net buys would suggest to me that there are even less shares available now.
This will more than bag imo opinion on so much as a scent of a contract.
But DYOR and don't listen to me, but I think anything under 3 will be well rewarded in a matter of days or weeks and today's buying just reinforced that for me

DYOR folks but news is a foot imo and if and when it lands ithis will multibag within the hour or two.
Over 4.5m net buys and most in sticky hand with a very small float!

At this point it is clear that VAST is in line for a great concession and will need finance. It is clear that due to the situation in which VAST was able to negotiate terms, were not as good as they could've been.
I reckon it will be cln's however, we must keep these points in mind:
A) the finance is needed to develop and start getting money in on Zimbobowe concession and ramp up Romania.
VAST expected to be cashflow positive by end of the year. So, finance will easily be affordable and paid off quickly!
If VAST will owe close to $15m and we are getting net $4- $6m/mth it won't be an issue
B) VAST is in line to receive another $4-6million from historical claims (I think it will be just shy of $6m)
The finance is for a set reason and not to keep lights on! With contracts and if the concession is better than expected, this may very well be seen as a positive!
In addition expect the investors at Prem to come this way if they do not have an immediate concession and even if the do are nowhere near a good a position at this point as VAST
I have gained respect for AP as he is delivering while GR can't even get the sand pit at RHA running!

So, I am very happy with developments here and think the order of news will be as follows;
-governme t approval on Monday
-finance final approval for draw down Monday/Tue
-Joint venture signing Tue/We'd
- Details of concession at point of JV signing
- historical claims sertlemt details end of week startong 21st
This is how I personally see this playing out and would expect share price to possibly hit 1.2p and settings back a little.

I love the title of this thread "priced in"! The funny thing is if a quantity and quality was known, then I would probably agree. However, you can not factor in unknowns.
We know that we will get permit, we know we have funding lined up, we know there is a JV, we know that there is a lot of support for this in Zim, we know that Marange is one of the world's richest diamond deposit and the claim we had was really great, we know that we might get a bigger and better claim , but we do not know how much. Bigger, richer and better quality it is and this has not been priced in because it can't at this point!

To know what you are working with is the essential last piece to the puzzle!

Bill- the finance is to realize the assets and unlike other placements or finence. On this occasion it's not for keeping lights on or salaries, so as the company will be able to service and pay off quickly. It will be seen as a positive!

TG+ I think those who wanted to sell for the beer money did so on Wed. However now is the time to build over the next few days for a big one

VAL is worth a lot more than it was two years ago.
VAL201, Val301 and Val 401 have each been tested and is known what it's strengths are.
As much as a larger scale study needs to be done for 201 and 301. A pharma that would take it on, wouldn't be doing so blindly. They know what it is and how it performs
S for VAl401 it is close and for a big pharma is pretty much de-risked
So, tgoing back to Valirix+ the company and assets are worth a very substantial amount more!
