Agree NM has our interests at heart....not because he loves us but because he looks for the longer term future of SOLG rather than just sell us quick on the cheap....the longer term future was and always is my personal preference.

Sold 700k for 330p means those shares have bought by someone/s for at least that price ...(huge amount....)market reaction today is far too harsh IMHO....I bought part of my trading pot before close and placed a cheeky order for more at 295p for tomorrow....you never know....

Paper holding not looking pretty today, but it's just another day ( the opposite of yesterday....)
You can only try and make the most of daily fluctuations with a trading pot....not worry at all about my main core holding that is on hold for longer term.

True this means that the board room is pretty much devided (like politics in many places these days....) basically NM will need to find a way to run the show smoothly, (will not be easy....)
HOWEVER, I trust that with more positive news like this morning the final outcome will be beneficial to us all LTH.

NM has not got the face of Popular (always look and sound grim....) and he certainly not trying to make himself popular.....but then again, this is not on his job description....he always did and probably will continue to do what he believe is the best way forward for SOLG....and by saying it I mean long term forward rather than the quick and easy buck some holders wishing for.....
I personally trust him to do the right moves.

Just got a feeling ....we are about to start moving up after a fairly quiet period.....with news or even without....

Not justified after Monday news....had a feeling that might happen so waited until this morning to add few more....happy to hold for the proper recovery here next year and beyond.

It is fully with his rights to sell when he like and has no obligations to explain why.....( intyerly his business....) of course the market don't like it, but this is going to recover strongly in no time IMHO....
A further retrace will represent an opportunity to buy back my trading pot.....

Just dropped below yesterday close....after this morning update that was enough for me to buy few more.....like I said few times before, daily fluctuations is no worry for me, quite the opposite, if I can I will always try and make the most of any drops that in my opinion represent an opportunity.....this morning drop after what I regard as very positive news was one of those opportunities.....

gdog, open mind is exactly where I am coming from as well, so totally agree....(something stt1 bitterness prevents him from using....)
I also had few of those in my portfolio for years...needless to say deeply under water,but I liked the concept of the new United company and took advantage of the lows earlier this year...sitting on close to 3 bagger now and already topsliced twice to invest elsewhere.....keeping the rest with anticipation for much more ( I fully expecting the price to go much higher...)
History (past performance and certain events) are something you can't ignore, but the present and even more the future are the most important factors to take notice...things certainly looking positive from where I am looking....

The CEO has history of selling and he did sell few times in last 2 years and a lot cheaper....it never stopped the SP to rise....yes,we may see a bit of a drop in the next few days but mainly because some traders will bank healthy profit.....(4 bagger for some that ignored the persistent negative poster here...)
Still any retrace will be short term blip and positive momentum will be resumed in no time....IMHO.

Yes and the overhang of his sold shares easily cleared by savvy buyers...we see a little retrace while some traders cashing on some profits, but positive momentum will be still in charge...IMHO.

400p is fast coming....and and the doom monger advice (to folks that listen...) was to avoid when price was just over 100p only few months back....

Yes,clearly the SP is held down circa 4p.....make what you want for the reasons, but for me it's a good reason to add few more (holding now higher percentage of my portfolio than I normally would....) of course it's still risky but I think AA would not like to miss the opportunity here ,so hopefully the BOD will not give anything away on the cheap....

But 1 share traded at close with surprisly strange finish....

When you see the RNS red dot flashing so late and near to the trading day close you normally get a bit worried ...HOWEVER, today late news are certainly nothing to worry about ....very positive indeed, and hopefully will get the attention and rewards starting from first thing tomorrow....

Folks making far too much of this week AGM IMHO...I think it will end up with no major news or change....a storm in a tea cup.
