Generally true, but it's all pretty much depending on how good is the news....certain positive update will be priced in after a decent rise so further uptrend will only be possible if the market is very impressed.
The thing here HOWEVER is that the current MC is tiny so on a decent news we could see plenty more upside IMHO.

Flurry of buys pushing us higher....not enough volume to make too much of it, but looks like that positive momentum has more legs.....
Having said that, we will need some decent news to underpin the latest nice rise, and even more than just decent to take us much higher....hopefully it is the case, and not least LTH here deserve.

Storm in a tea cup and just an excuse for the market to allow some very interested parties to pick up cheaper shares.....I managed few myself ( although missed on a cheeky order below 300p....)
Normal business resume and 400p ( or even higher...) in the near term.

Very weak sentiment driving the SP down with very low volume ( which doesn't help....)
Only thing SOLG can do is to keep good drilling and assays results ( which are realistically expected....) the market sooner or later will take notice....
Remember this is a marathon, not a sprinter....
