The recent drop and daily fluctuations (both not nice on the eye....) matters not for the longer term holder/s....if anything an opportunity to increase for the bigger rewards....again each to his own choice....welcome newbies whatever opinions you have....make no effect whatsoever on the SP, surely you know that.....

Late morning start for me to wake up to the placing news.....surprised, yes but not disappointed really....yes,a level of SP drop is certainly expected near term, and unfortunately I missed the early opportunity to buy just above the placing price but it may still come back to it again in the following near term so I will wait and see....meanwhile with my current average holding which is anyway nearly double than the placing price I am actually very comfortable with today news.....it's all about the middle to longer term for me and plenty of better news to come now from both fronts, AA deal and more drilling results...
I will take any weakness opportunity to add few more....

Got the placing very early in the start of the drilling season.....placing is never good news but not something you can avoid going forward, it's done now so very good news will be needed to move the SP forward....I fully expecting exciting news, but any rise will be going through the churning mill with the addition shares.....will take some very strong results to move forward, so hopefully it will be the case.

I fully agree it's nowhere near over....actually the REAL negotiations will start seriously only when the arbitration papers will be filled......

I don't think so....it may be the case for a very short while but today trading update is so positive that will go long way with the market....IMHO.
with so much more to come later on this year, ie. Major sports events and USA listing the price should and probably would move significantly higher....again IMHO.

To be fair I was expecting the market reaction today when results came out (sold few last week so I can buy more later....)
In my experience most of the times price is dropping on results day, and even if those results are good, or very good....ours is no different,...
The BIRD is certainly doing very well and will get stronger and bigger going forward, I will certainly hold tight my main core here for a long long time but in order to increase my stake I will also continue to trade a chunk of it when I feel it's beneficial for me....today results were good and inline with my expectations, but like I said before ,more needed to be done to get us closer to breakeven and to profitability in years to come.

Today update and the current volume of trading suggest that 4 digit SP is not that far away...even if our local friend will have another go to suggest otherwise....absolutely amazing update today,no doubt about it.

My punt here that even after today big drop is just underwater is put away for a later date (whenever....) certainly not buying more atm (maybe if it drops much more....) and even more certainly not selling any either....

Good progress, but we need more contracts and revenue this year and beyond to take us to breakeven or better to profit....more work to do....

This forum is full of sarcasm that rightly or not grown out the awful history of this company....HOWEVER, this company has gone through difficult times as a result of the world wide pandemic and actually managed a bit better than many bigger companies out there....the main obstacle now is the huge overhang of the latest placing shares which will be for a long while, but business wise we can come stronger....some realistic hopes for the medium to long term....
IMHO.

Agree it's not even close to be over....the company going for the highest level of compensation which is fair and very normal in this kind of situation, they know very well it's practically not achievable and will wait for a counter offer that presently not received or was too low....this kind of negotiations takes time and with those slovinians will be even more difficult....meanwhile AST will file the arbitration papers to show they fully intend to take it all the way....every holder will have to make his own choice, but my punt here going only to the bottom drawer...for now. expecting a big dip in the near term (starting from tomorrow....)
But like few said already, this is far from over....

Pinguser,agree...and this is exactly why I mentioned this morning that the RNS used the word at PRESENT regarding achieving amicable settlement....both sides might back off their original demands....HOWEVER, I just don't trust this slovenian government to make anything easy...I think we are going to have no choice but to go all the way to arbitration.
Though, I hope I am wrong.

Reading the RNS again I actually notice that they say more than once that amicable agreement can't reach at PRESENT so does that mean such agreement could be reached at a later date rather than waiting for the court to decide????...
I read a lot of frustration from holders here against the company, but really this should be directed towards the slovenian government which always made matters very hard and I just trying my best not to say what I really think of them.....
I still hold a punt here which I was fully aware that is less than 50 50 chance to be rewarding this time round, as such now it's going to the bottom drawer with hopes that something good will come out of it ....eventually.

Long it should and hopefully would continue....the SP was even higher few weeks ago even without yesterday very positive update, so it only fair to expect much stronger performance now....IMHO.
