Were decimated this morning - MMs took them all out with the drop. Now the dust settling and the buying comes in. Yes Oil is low, but this outfit are a class above the others - rabbit being pulled out of the hat. Feel sorry for those who had their skin taken out of the game by the MMs this morning.

70p is around £850m

Those that apprropriately value assets. Why pay for a drill for potential when you come along and buy guaranteed reserves and production - world class fields. 70p would be what £600m?

Asset sale would bring in circa £500m, but I think having read what was written we could have a couple of parties interested in buying the whole business and now a 70p bid would appear far more acceptable than a month ago.

Expecting big news - watch the buyers close weeks of selling.

Hapy with my purchase - think those short have been given the ideal opportunity to close out before results on Thursday. Could see details of a takeover or asset sale, which will impact the sp positively.
Hard not to feel a bit down after multiple purchases, but I am confident of a result here.

If anyone studies gaps then there is a pretty big one between 70p - £1.20.

I think a takeover at perhaps £900m or an asset sale to Total both possible at the minute.

So many permutations to this story, although pretty confident with those with a sub 70p average will walk away with a profit - just don’t know how much though.

Production issue resolved - was hoping to hear about this on 12/3 - was hoping to bag more on the cheap
