RE: I'm jumping in!29 Mar 2022 13:55
Great long term value, but there will be short term volatility and for me I want to benefit in some ways with the swings. I have 14,000 Evr parked up now because of the suspension with a cost price of £8K. It made me a bit more cautious when trading Poly, so book profits and rebuy when the opportunity presents itself. With Poly I hold 12,000 at a nil cost and from my sales and buys today I managed to rebuy cheaper get my 12,000 shares back and bank £1000. I can see a number of gaps on our way upto our £3.36 peak today.
We hit a peak of circa £2.60 yesterday and closed at £2.42 and we opened at £2.95 today, so there is a gap there. Then if you are looking at lower than that we have the £1.76 close on Friday, the peak that day was £1.88 and on Monday we opened at £1.95 so another gap there in my opinion. Do all gaps get filled? No, but my money is set aside to when I feel comfortable to buy. Bit of a halfway house for me right now, but looking at the near 160% move from last Wed I believe we are at an overbought position and a little easing will happen. On the flip side if peace talks go well and are signed off then ignore all this gap nonsense this will re-rate sharply! That what my holding bag is there for.......they aren't going anywhere.
