folks, looking for some information on UKOG. Are most people on this BB invested here? I presume this is a speculative punt....is this correct? Do people buy and sell on dips/peaks or does the spread make this difficult or do they generally hold?Thanks!

JOHN112334: listen John, I'm in a good place here, not really underwater unlike some other shares, but if I had a quid for every time I've heard a similar opinion.....undoubtedly, I think this will move upwards, there's hardly any other option but it'll take some major news for a real recovery....but as always, I hope you are right!

Well, it's clear that this is a great place to have a chat, discuss SPs and people can give their opinions and vent their frustrations....but most commentaries here can be discarded. There must be actual news to move a SP, at least to move and sustain that move.

and I would be delighted as I'm invested here but no bump to the SP nor is the US MBNKF up either (for what it's worth)...so I'm really hoping but I'm not convinced!

thereaper: You'll forgive me if I don't break out the champagne just yet. There have been a huge number of people talking the SP up without even a scintilla of truth to any of these rumours!

deos: ffs, it was £2.85 only a couple of weeks ago, admittedly for a very short period of time.

dogger: I know you didn't but as deos said, your in a much better position than he is and I think this will work out okay for you and it'll be one hell of a learning experience....but you've got to plot an exit strategy and stick to it and don't get seduced by these guys talking about £8 or £10 cos that most likely will never happen. An exit strategy mate!!!

dogger: Okay, sorry an unfortunate phrase.....what I meant is the SP is going to seesaw, it has already to an extent and from some of your comments in the past, I don't think you are prepared to sell some of your holding at a loss. I can see you holding until it hits 500 and it may never reach that. For example, how many did you sell at 275 to 285 a couple of weeks ago!

dogger: You were very consistent in your story going back on your posts so I largely believed you but you've got to stop whining and stop the self-harm innuendo! And you've been given lots of advice, a lot of it good, which you've chosen to ignore! So, unless you can master time travel, you either take the advice or wait till MTRO turns around but I can see you getting greedy and waiting for the killing!

nuri123a: You might be right...however, some shares move on little or no news and it's not at all apparent why! Of course, I've probably piled into one of these which doesn't move. I'm relatively lucky to be in at near the current bottom but I would be tempted to get out at 11.50-12.
