"Is there anyone actually making a profit out of their investment in UJO todate ?"
Well it's pretty obvious that those that have bought into the presentations and held on looking for long-term returns have lost most of their cash. But if you've done some sharp trading then this share has made some nice, albeit modest, profits. Not much different from most other AIM's really.
People like myself have been warning that for the last couple of years. But as soon as you invoke some form of rationality you provoke the irk of the rampers and their cult and reicieve nothing but abuse from them
But at least this slump will teach a few good life lessons, if they can't listen to reason and facts at least they'll listen to their own wallets. It's an old and often repeated story. Not the first time and certainly won't be the last. That's how the AIM works and thus PI's get suckered in to the hype.
Even if PI's do lose their investments on this share they should all be proud that their money has not gone to waste. It's been used to pay the wages of the pad operators, crane operators, equipment lease co's, HGV drivers, security guards....etc, etc, as well as lining the pockets of the directors and their associates of course. And in turn they use that money to pay their mortgages, bills, second home, new car etc, all helping to keep the British economy churning, even though there are zero hydrocarbons to show for it. So at least take some pride in that. Carrot and stick works.
I'm afraid it's going to be much more of a struggle to raise the SP from these losses. I'd say this is going to be floating around the 8-10p mark until serious cash comes in from production, which is still some time away. Sorry for those that have lost out - but I did warn about 6 months ago (and got a bit of abuse for doing so). Small AIM oillies like this just don't have a robust enough proposition when there's a general market downturn and take much longer to recover on the upturn.
Some good news at last, well at least if you’re a realist and not a dreamer.
“fracking, within the current corpus of scientific evidence, will not be taken forward in England.”
So, unless the boffins come up with something pretty advanced pronto (believe me, they won’t) we’ll be seeing some real SP’s and real cash replacing all these pretend SP’s and pretend cash.
