Wouldn't it be great if SD had a plan already lined up in the event that SB still wants to play 'silly bu*gers'' which involved us purchasing ''the non-approving party's interest at fair market value" through a partnership between GGP and another major like (dare I say it) ''Northern Star'' maybe? ;-)

A share consolidation at these levels would be the final straw IMO.

The last Share consolidation I was involved in (which I voted against) has been an absolute disaster with the value of my investment now having dropped 52% since the consolidation (at 50:1) was implemented.

100% agree Antigua and that has been my own concern now for quite a while now as I do not trust SB one iota!

Still going to ride it out though until the eventual conclusion, as already been invested here since July 2014 and feel we are on the 'downward slope' so to speak towards whatever turns out to be the final destination for Hav and/or GGP.

I hope you're right (and you usually are!) and many thanks for all that you contribute to this (and other) boards!

I'm just getting a little nervous as to what might go against us and the ongoing effects.

Myself and my family hold just under 2.75m shares between us and I myself have seen over £550K of paper profit evaporate since the sp ATH (which is more than my gross earnings over the last 30 odd years!)

Whilst I am still in profit here (with an average of 1.1p) I really need this to provide for my family going forward (as do many others no doubt) and I just don't want to lose out just because SD might have bruised SB's ego!

That's the bit that really concerns me! I think that SB is still smarting over the fact that they couldn't get Hav for the pitifully low price that he wanted to pay and that he's now looking to fuk us over!

If they can 'save' Telfer without requiring Hav then IMO I have no doubt he will 'shelve it' for the time being, and where does that leave us?!

Time will tell and I truly hope that I'm wrong!

22.75p is the highest price over the last 12 months (according to HL's figures) so if such a pitiful offer were to be made (even with an additional premium) they can feck right off and go do one as far as I'm concerned!!!!

I once attended a seminar many years ago now run by Gill Fielding (of Channel 4's ''Secret Millionaire'' fame).

The real eye opener for me was when she stated that ''seriously wealthy and successful people are those who are comfortable with large amounts of debt''. Always use other peoples' money wherever possible.

We lost my mum 23 years ago now (at the relatively young age of 59) to a stroke, so I know first hand what a horrible experience it is to have to go through.

So glad the outcome was different in your own case and your quick response would have most definitely made a difference.
