As it would be!
If the company is worth £1,040,000,000 (i.e. 13bn shares at 8p) and we consolidate by 10:1 that reduces available shares to 1.3bn.
Company still worth £1,040,000,000, but divide that by reduced shares in issue (1.3bn) and your shares will now be worth 80p a share.
Not a fan of consolidations (as are others on here and as already covered a while back) but it is what it is and so long as the overall value of my total investment continues to rise (for once!) it'll all be good!
