As Scott has said there is nothing to prevent putting a spade in the ground to start the declines...

Finally would SOLG be commencing all that detailed contracting announced today if they were going to be baulked by an Environmental Licence?

Metoo and PBow...DBW had an indication that it could be weeks...

Meanwhile I don't see any mention of an Environment Licence in the FNV deal.

It may be in the $650m small print but by that time FNV will have paid over $100m...for no return...? That would be a gamble even by their standards.

Meanwhile SOLG will be doing all this:

But I continue to look at the bigger picture...

Noboa and his Ministries would look extremely stupid if, having loudly broadcast SOLG as the biggest of its flagship projects ($3.2 bn not $1.65bn), a civil servant withheld the Environmental Licence from one of the most ESG credible mining companies on the planet.

I think that RNS confounds the doubters and derampers...

It didn't hold up the FNV deal and it won't hold up the copper streaming deal.

When are people going to stop posting buts and ifs and realise the undeniablemassive undervalue here.

And NO I'm not ramping. I've been over the numbers, the full detail of the PFS and the FNV deal and you've got to stop looking for angels on the head of a pin.

If I'd had the money at 9.81 I'd have doubled our 3m holding rather than buy 400k.

With 35analysts and fund managers meeting Scott in a week the only thing holding the SP back is liquidity as the MMs hold the price back for Instis and HNW Ecuadorians to buy stock.

And that isn't gping to change any time soon because there is no need to issue new equity and Bob sees no need to sell the "Own" shares any time soon.

So this is a coiled spring waiting to burst upwards and I believe the $900 million will unleash that potential...

You are absolutely right to refer to the timeline and of course I know Noboa doesn't issue licences but...

The Ministry wouldn't have issued the Underground Licence if it wasn't a given that we will get the Environment Licence...

Its all about process and there are many procedural steps to get through, but...

FNV did SIX MONTHS of DD. And OK you'll say that each payment is conditional but thats the whole point.

Its just a series of procedures now. Tick milestone, tick funding. But FNV have assumed all will happen. They are committing funding step by step but they are not gamblers. If the licences were a serious ssue they wouldn't take that risk.

And you've totally missed the point about the $900 million being the icing on the cake.

The $750 million FNV funding puts a putative value on the Gold...but only for a small proportion.

The $900 million copper stream will put a putative value on the copper but similarly only for a modest proportion but...

When the $10m 'bridging loan' was announced the dismal jimmies worried about insolvency were at least temporarily reassured.

The $750 million takes away all cash worries until well into the mine build

The $900 million says the mine is fully funded to commercial production.

So then nobody should worry; it becomes a turnkey project; and the prospective buyers of SOLG or Cascabel have a decision to make.

Scott says Cascabel is worth at least a buck but when you take account of the PFS assuming lower prices than now (and the gold alone adds another $25 billion of pure profit to be NPV'd...let alonethe likely mine life stretching out for 50 years or more...Cascabel alone must be worth well north of £1...

So when the $900m is announced the Bull case becomes unarguable...

Its beyond belief that people on here don't yet understand the massive significance of the Underground Licence.

It means there is nothing to stop us starting to build the mine. Nothing.

The $900 million would be the icing on the cake...and its imminent...but we could still start to build the mine without that.

As you have said...Scott wants to present a turnkey project to prospective bidders. They don't want a JV...they want an outright sale of Cascabel preferably, failing that a bid for the company.

The sale of Cascabel would allow us to develop the phenomenal potential of the besr regional projects...in Scott's words, there could be several more Cascabel's out there...

And Scott has also gone on record saying that Cascabel alone is worth at least "a buck" i.e. 80p...

Benchmark Solgold's portfolio against any comparable Junior Miner in the world...there isn't a single one with anything like the portfolio we have in the underdeveloped Ecuadorian arm of the Andean Belt...

I repeat...a 'black swan' in markets in general would affect our SP indirectly because "all boats rise and fall with the tide..." Look waht happened to our SP wit the recent Nasdaq selloff...

Howver, take macro market factors out and the $750m and the Underground Licence are what have removed any possible lingering doubts and led me to buy another 400k at 9.81 recently...

Because anything under 10p now is stupidly cheap...
