Excellent RNS. Brilliantly timed...has continued the momentum through 26p...

Just what was needed and with several new instis buying in the background, should continue towards 30 and beyond over the next few weeks.

The story has always been good and is now even better. A thoroughly professional approach and a fundamental change from overpromising and then disappointing, to rational reappraisal and a steady flow of good news.

Heres the Company's summary:

Of course you are absolutely right RICHR...and Liberum stated there would be a bid by mid year...

But by definition there has been no approach because the company would have to RNS that...

Another good day, which means we have now closed up on the day on each of the last four trading days, on three of which we 'gapped up' at the start of the day...

Having bottomed out (?) on 25 March at 20.3p, we have risen 23% in just 7 trading days...

Yet another high closing UT, at just about the highest price achieved since 8.52 this morning and again almost 200,000 shares (187k)

Added to that, just like yesterday, there was a late bargain of over 400,000 shares which I suspect was a buy...

The SP rises are on growing volumes, which is also positive...

Yesterday was the second highest daily volume since 12 Feb and today the third highest since 23 Feb...

And am I ramping the shares..no point...just reporting good news...

There may be some profit taking before Monday with the election result due, but I expect the SP to advance again after that...

Onwards and upwards...

So much speculation on here...

The only thing we know for certain is that the company is working towards the reappraisal, redesign, financing and construction of Alpala...

There is not even a hint of J/Vs and especially not takeovers...and I am in regular contact...

The company is positive with their outlook on the Election, which they say is currently too close to call.

Both candidates support mining.

However...in the meantime...

The company did a big 'roadshow' in March with immense interest, where they were able to call a very large number of high quality investors, some of whom have definitely started buying.

Makes sense FTJNY...I think we've also seen some B&B deals since 6 April to log tax losses for this year...

What I also think is bullish is the resilience of the SP in the face of substantial sales orders...

As with Monday and yesterday, the market has absorbed a big sell (388,172 at 10.11 today) and moved ahead...

Previously, these sales would have caused the market to be moved down...instead they are now fuelling the liquidity and allowing investors to steadily buy...

If you look at the last 5 days or so, apart from these large sells, the market has been characterised by relatively small, steady buying, by private investors...

As we are the 'swing producers' (with the bulk tightly held), that to me is further good news...

Sound reasoning Colonel...I don't agree absolutely everything, but back to your Premier `League form...

addickt...while I concede there will need to be an equity element (bankers expect skin in the game), you may be forgetting that almost year ago, NM let slip that they already had offers totalling c$1 billion for streaming deals...

Added to that, Ivanhoe has just done a Convy for a mine in the DRC (most dangerous place on the planet...) at 2.5% in the North American markets....

It was originally mooted at $375 million and was increased to $500m before the issue because of demand...they ended up having to increase it again to $575 million because of the demand...

The Fed will be doing everything possible to hold down the 10 year yield and 'manage the yield curve'...Blloomberg says that particularly far Eastern investors are curtailing their interest in US Treasuries...the nmost recent issue was savagely underbought...

Funds and Sovereigns want decent yields from 7 to 50 years that they won't get from US Treasuries...and they want secure underpinning assets/projects (not junk company debt)...

The company is very positive about funding Alpala...

Furthermore, if as I suspect the SP will be well north of here before SOLG issues more equity, after a short term setback I believe an issue also will be positive for the SP because as people get more positive and the shares are more tightly held, liquidity will be the issue keeping the price down...

Here's my objective take...

There is no way the Greenland Minerals project can go ahead now in the foreseeable future...

But Bluejay don't have the same challenges, so...

Their project may be the 'consolation prize' the pro miners get instead of GM...

And we should remember...

BOTH the Greenland and Danish governments have invested in our project...

No brainer to short JAY running up to the election...

No doubt Rod has been holding back news...any early positives, such as reaffirmation of support for our project by the new government could see this share spike...

And remember, eyes wide open...a US investor paid over the odds at 14.5p...maybe NOW is the time for them to start increasing their stake...

Finally, it took me 2 hours yesterday to buy 205,000...there's still a shortage of stock out there...

AIMO as usual...

I don't think its about the elections or anything specific...

As I suggested last week..the SP has bottomed out...we've seen steady progress on growing volumes, taking out one chart level after another...

20 day/50 day MA about to cross...200 day MA in sight at 28.62p

But being more simple...

This can be a self-fuelling rise...

Down to 20p+ people were worried that we might slip into the teens...that didn't happen...

No doubt a lot of people sold out part or all on the big 'gap down' on the PFS news Feb 5 and the steady fall after that...

But those who have owned and followed this share know it is worth way more than the current price, whether taken out by a bidder or even going to production...its only a matter of time before value outs...

Its understandable that people looked elsewhere for gains while SOLG simply wasn't performing...from one perspective you could say its done little since Feb 6...

But now its breaking out...people who sold out in fear may be buying back in through FOMO...

People who were sat on the sidelines watching may now be steadily getting back in...

For whatever reason, whether the IG margin call policy change; Archegos; or whatever, SOLG is now probably far less shorted and those manipulating it to keep it down risk being burned...

A positive RNS about progress on Alpala/PFS in the near future and a meaty RNS on regionals; or even a JV deal or two on the 'smaller prospects' could light a fire that takes us back well into the 30s...

And then let Takeover or J/V speculation kick in and we could be back in the 40s by mid summer...

This was another very encouraging day!

9 million shares traded but the most significant thing is...if you read my post this morning...

"Nudged through the 50 day average first thing...still banging on it...need to get to 24p..hold it...and then break clear..."

We blew through 24 and that means we blew through the 50 day MA as predicted.

Once again the significance is that the UT was over 200,000 shares AND it closed at the highest price of the day...AGAIN...

next target 25 but ultimately we want to get through the 200 day MA at c28.32 and, more importantly need the 20 day to cross the 50 day...that would probably be late this week or early next week if we keep up this momentum...
