Why would we need two J/V partners?

BHP does block caving...

NCM does black caving...

Keith Marshall has done block caving...

BHP could buy us in a few weeks cashflow...and although there is no shortage of funding in North America waiting for a project like this, having BHP as a JV partner for Alpala would get rid of CGP and make the funding a doddle...

However, I can assure you the company is not interested in a JV ATMO except for the '20 'small' prospects...

Personally as I've said before I would support a BHP JV for Alpala on the right terms and a similar with Barrick for Rio...

Remember NCM was hawking its stake through RBC and in the end decided to keep it as a 'strategic' investment...

This institutional buying must be continuing in the background...maybe they've set a 30p ceiling, but as very few people seem to be selling size, I am optimistic this will close above 30p today...

This would be the dream scenario for me...

A bid would send the SP rocketing here IMO (inspiring an auction?)

A J/V would be the optimal endgame and the SP would remain high...

Also a J/V would allow SOLG to develop Alpala (with the 'senior' partner leading the funding) and release funds for SOLG to develop the 'string of pearls', either through a succession of J/Vs...IPOS...or even just subsidiaries...

Why would anyone not buy now...the Election is out of the way with the best result the Company could have hoped for...

Anyone buying now gets an astonishing portfolio of assets for a pittance with a bid possibility thrown in for free, 'underwriting' the SP surely at a minimum of 50p...?

Isn't that one of the things that the Archegos debacle showed up...

SOLG was one of the 1000 plus ETF shares that IG took off their list, increasing the margin call to 100%...

Gilo...we've had almost 50% in the last 12 trading days

Factors...at first the share bottomed out at 20.3 or thereabouts, being massively oversold...

Then the Regional RNS fuelled the rising SP....

The Alpala RNS clarified a lot with positive outcomes...

Even then I think some people took profits before the election result and others may have waited until the result was out of the day...

And finally the Company did a roadshow for 45 prospective insti investors in the last fortnight or so and I'm certain this has fuelled and supported the rise with more to come...

In conclusion the communications and market management has been immeasurably better than the 'overpromising and underdelivering' that characterised late last year, together with the 'shock and ore' confetti of RNSs that eventually became counterproductive, especially after a realistic, professional and positive reappraisal of Alpala began...

Plus the 20 prospective 'small' J/Vs the company is seeking...

So...the SP should already have been in the late 30s where it was in late January or even 40s to 50s on the rising copper price and the new, pragmatic, professional open and constructive management style that Keith Marshall has ushered in...
