He mentions GGP and SOLG at the end. I think Solg is a good example of what happens when you cannot get finance or have a good strategy. They are still years away from putting a spade in the ground and probably will be eaten up by Bhp. Newcrest have had 100s millions in this company for years and so far have had no reward. At least GGP can see a future!

The way I see it is if the big boys want to make money the sp has to increase therefore pis benefit. The new executives will have little effect on the benefit from Hav but if there are new targets proven then that is where they should earn their keep. All of the players want to see GGP get very big and so we will all benefit- simples!

From what was said today should we be preparing ourselves for a approx £50k valuation of the 5% which will just about clear the loan?
He mentioned the valuation in Dec rather than what it is worth in the future?
IMHO gla Matt
Did someone mention that for the shorts there is ‘margin call’ at 16.5p. Ie when the shifters have to increase the amount held to cover the shares borrowed. If so they will be fighting to keep the sp below this.
Regarding the 5% is this completely separate to the tolling/processing cost negotiation. If not when is this decided and determined.
Do the oracles on the board have any opinions as to whether any greater resource growth in the future may be taken into account with royalties on the 5% purchase.
Comments welcome
Gla, imo Matt
Why would SD use Sunday Roast to give the most explicit interview he has done- I have never heard of them before and cannot recall GGP being on it before? It was almost messages going out to share holders and also to Newcrest - share holders to not expect to great a number and Newcrest - we have got the right people to deal with the situation. It was a very good interview and they were very direct and almost SD welcomed the questions .
Trying to buy at present at 15.2p but nothing being sold by Barclays
imo, gla Matt
Everybody is looking at the 5% valuation from GGPs point of view. Whatever amount is used GGP will be assessed on 5 times this but Newcrest's HAV asset value will be 15 times this adding to their value. So it is in their interest to have a realistic value as well.
Looking forward to the news soon
imho, gla, Matt
Sorry if this has been covered before as it was some time ago but Bamps how do you read the 3 drill holes at Nimitz(east of Hav) as these were talked up at the time but in their April report it said
"No further drilling planned at Nimitz because assays now received did not return significant gold values to warrant further drilling at this stage."
So are these a bit like Scallywag or do you feel there is nothing signicant there.

For those not familiar with this graph the article below explains it well with an example

Managed to sell out of this share yesterday and did not lose any money - actually made a couple of hundred pounds! Very difficult knowing quite what is happening with this company. As soon as it comes back to the market for funds it will be back under a penny. For those sticking with it I wish you good fortune. I await rampers response!
