I do not think Gervais is ready to sell his baby yet. I think NC will buy Hav or come to an arrangement including some JV on Scally and Blackhills. It will probably be a something left field ie an arrangement which we have not thought of yet! who would have predicted the current deal with NC. The good thing is that Sandeep and Gervais seem to have alot of respect for each other and i feel can be trusted to be fair. It would be good for them to work together in the future and that is why NC have first shout on any other sites.
So we may see the odd pullback in sp but I think we are only at the end of the start and along way to go. People should not lose their nerve here - what a great place to be, having this worry - who would have predicted this!
It is a good job Scally is delayed as they may use some of Newcrest's drills if agreement is done!

Some people have mentioned that Havieron could be another Kalgoorlie. The Super Pit is 26,000 ha so in terms of size, this is a square 16km by 16km. So how could the dimensions of Havieron even compare with Kalgoorlie at any grade. But with Scallywag only 4km away you could be getting there, and then the shallower material Blackhills nearby it all could give a similiar size pit! I cannot imagine Havieron on its own doing it though.
On a different point do you think we will get any deeper drill results from the next results as it was open at depth?
Exciting times

There is an area south of Haveiron which GGP has applied for - do any of the oracles know if this has been decided yet. This could come in as an RNS that nobody is expecting which could add another blast to the sp.

If they have found good stuff in the SW then perhaps there will be more drill holes stepping out further to the SW to see where it finishes in that direction. These holes in the SW will not be vertical - so which direction are they going in - and why so many? Was this area not assess with aeriel/magnetic stuff! Confusion reigns!

In the announcement they said they had 20,000m still to drill. For 8 drills that is 2500m each. So they have probably 2 more drill holes per drill unit. That should not take them that long. Also that is not many holes to step out into the NW and then do some infill drilling. Also will they try and go deeper to see what grades there are at depth as it is open at depth as well. So will we get an initial MRE and then that added to with time. Also they must have a very good indication from their modelling as to what the MRE is.
I am surprised that GH does not persuade/let NC to drill Scally etc as their drill equipment analyses as it drills and changes course appropriately. I do not know if the drill company they use or have used is that sophisticated.
Any views

The satellite images are amazing- thanks Paddy. If there are 8 rigs running I wonder which spots they are on? Then which direction are they drilling - presumably to that NW zone. Rather than stepping outwards info, which is important, I would like to see drilling results at more depth because it is open in that direction as well.
