Just invested here today. Researched the company a couple of months ago and seemed a good bet. Obviously risky but with lots of upside potential. Shell have some of the lowest reserves of any oil major so they should require a productive partnership with someone lie Deltic, if not a takeover at some point. Cash reserves until 2022 so I think I will sleep easy for the next 6 month and may even buy more if I see more weakness here.

@ James, I thought you were targeting 15p! Do I sense a change in your leaning? Be more positive now?

jamesbond0071977 - I wish you would have tried to answer SharetrackerA questions on how you would run the company. I am sure that you have some insights from working with them. From an investing point of view, it doesn't really matter if the top brass is useless, every firm has a price which is below fair value and The AA current seems to be there! I would guess 35p is the minimum bid possible but probably wouldn't be taken. At it's current price of 22.5p it is well worth a punt with a target of 50-100% gain! If you are right and we actually see a 15p bottom, then the risk to reward of buying now seems quite reasonable! ;)

It won't clear debt, only buy time.

If it closes under 25p, I'm out. Price action on this has been a joke.

@Clemoc That is true and I still think that a 45p-ish bid is still possible. The right team could probably put some value from this company.

35p will be fine with me. Totally bored with holding these shares and with the latest price weakness, was even toying with the idea of taking my profits now to reinvest elsewhere. I never viewed AA as a long term hold and should have been trading it far more! This is not a buy and forget company. I just got too greedy with the bid rumours which seem to be dragging on for far too long.

Great thread. CEO is so important in these small firms. Peter Secker is never going to make sells person of the year but he does come across as honest with good technical knowledge. I got burned with Chris Fraser at Sirius Minerals, he had a lot of bluster but not much else, should have been a red flag! Agree that Cathal Friel the CEO at ORPH is on another level. He is heavily invested himself and I expect good things from that company.

Isn't EMH also a rock deposit? More difficult and costly to get at. I would imagine the whole setup will be more costly being based in Europe, regardless of logistical benefits. Turning back to BCN I always thought Zinnwald was a nice possible extra but not the reason I invested here.

Did you buy any at the low though? I have held off selling so far as the price is showing signs of weak support. Wouldn't buy more until signs of support are clearer.

Topped up again today as well, for around 2.1p. Delay or not, this is undervalued and seems like a good play. Well done if anyone picked any up for under 2p today!
