Backing off today. I did find myself thinking about selling some yesterday! Still, would I really want to be out if we get a jump to £1.30!

Agree, this is the safest cornerstone of my portfolio! Still paying dividends despite most companies cutting them. May top up a bit is we see sub £8 share prices again.

Certainly possible to see higher prices before any deal is finalised but unless it is a bigger bid I wouldn't expect it to move too much. The risk of the price dropping again to the low 20s because the deal gets pulled was too high for me. Think this is a done deal but if the price did drop again I would think about buying back in.

I think with the BOD backing and the amount of time it has taken to be put forward, this is a done deal.

So I held this through the ups and downs. A bit disappointed but sold out for 34p today and glad to be out finally! Lots of opportunity cost over the past months on this. Good luck to those holding to the end and hoping for a bigger bid!

I had £1.50 as my target price. I did think about selling some at 90p after missing the 110p top but felt it would push back up! How wrong I was. Still about 20% up and think that the low 30s will offer a lot of support. Just need some positive numbers to come out, otherwise it could be a long wait to get back over £1. Long term this company has a lot of promise and believe testing will yeild some good returns... at some point!

@Gman753 Yes, I thought that statement was quite telling!

Currently sitting on a 62% profit. Toying with the idea of selling all, maybe half, now. Disappointing as I could have had higher 2 months ago and it was the possibility of a +40p offer that kept me in!

@unvrkw - I aggree and I had a £1.35 target price penned in here before the drop past 50p! (I should have topped up more!)

Irrelevant what moves the price makes short term. This company is a cracking prospect and I fully expect to be holding some of my shares long term and collecting dividends from them!

Damn right. AIM takes no prisoners! As for not being filled on a limit order. It happens, esp. with low liquidity shares. I tend to only buy these low market caps stocks with at best market orders.

I'm of the opinion that this is almost risk free at this point and will go into production. This is what Genfeng's moves indicate to me. We just need some news that confirms this so the rest of the market takes note.

bobgeorge11, is it some sort of company share save scheme? Without any of the details of the scheme it is impossible to say. Worst case, you may have to pay any saved tax due and may not receive matching shares! The scheme may just offer a refund of the cash invested. I've been in a couple of difference ones over the years and they all have their own rules and incentives, you should speak with the provider for clarity.

I agree. I find it a bit strange seeing as ODX have currently made so little money from COVID testing! Most of their revenue comes from the food allergy test! Main reason I bought in here was I felt that they would do well under any circumstances. The sell off certainly seems over done.

So can anyone sum up what happened to the price today, is the test really rubbish or is it just over this legal action over £75m contract?
