Losses here. Completely lost faith in this. I've never seen things move so slowly. Covid is just not an excuse when i see other O&G companies still working! New leadership required. If they had faith in the assets they would own many more shares than they do, i'm starting to fear this is not what it all seems.
Been a while since i looked on here. Think the last time i commented was before 'the burn'.
Really disappointed that it has been years yet the guys at the top are happy to speak to the media but want nothing to do with the shareholders who have been paying their salaries for the last (20?) years.
Still hopeful that something comes of this soon but it's in the bottom draw right at the back. This is my biggest investment loss but nothing life changing. I feel sorry for those of you that put in much more than i.
I have learnt to not let myself get positive about this. Expect the worse. If it comes good it'll be an amazing surprise. If it goes bad well, it was expected.
Rather that way around than the other...
In no way am i questioning the numbers or calculations. I'm merely questioning what makes him " very confident that we will get a special dividend. I also think that this will be before the court case against SH/O"
It's the last sentence that i am asking why.
Just because my question doesn't follow the positive ramping of someone that maybe invested slightly too much into one pot, isn't my problem.
Come off it RR.
Prove superman isn't real.
Genuinely asking why he was confident in the hope that it could lift my feelings on this.
Facts is facts... We've all been done over as it stands.
MP, what makes you very confident?
We know some of what he has said to be untrue by the reading of RNS's. They didn't choose to leave the LSE, the nomad resigned. We know the US congressmen are being paid by FRR and the amount of confirmed resources there differs from previous announced reserves.
I don't believe any of it.... I feel worse about my investment now than ever. Sorry guys - just saying how i see it.
In todays world of economics, the world uses the american billion.
Minimum 14 characters. Minimum 1 capital. Minimum 1 number. Minimum one special character ie # or !. There are websites that will tell you how strong a specific password is (don't use your real password here - one that is similar to check)
All i can say is if you don't recognise the number or the voice do not answer or reply. No one will ever call you up asking for passwords or bank details. It is very easy to steal someones identity these days. Don't give out personal information anywhere. We manage to stop vast majority of fraud before it affects people, but with so much being attempted, some gets through. The issue these days is that with it getting harder to steal identities with requiring ID to sign up to credit etc, fraudsters are turning to hijacking peoples already existing credit accounts. Be vigilant. Make sure your passwords are difficult to guess.
They won't get anywhere with that. They are not the first person to try and email every person/company about this situation. I'm sure i'm not the only person here who has tried it to no avail. If anyone of us got a reply, we would all know about it.
I work in fraud mate. Wont be a black mark against your name. At the end of the day, would you rather have them do what they did, or ignore it? Our job is to stop bad people doing bad things to good people - if that means upsetting you by getting it wrong sometimes, so be it! Though 80% of the time we are right!
Ok so based on that the AGM was in April. They didn't need to tell us it was then which is why we didn't hear anything - it was up to us to just turn up, which i assume, no one did?
Very true. I have not seen these so cannot comment.
There is no legal requirement for a private company to hold an AGM. Just saying.
People don't invest on real values. They invest on the PE. If you value it at 5p but the PE goes to 10 then unlucky - you should have stuck it in now at 7p. Alternatively you value it at 5p, the next news is useless and you win. All investments are risks based on what YOU believe the company will do.
I know a lot of really good people that work for, and really care about this company. From what i hear, management are incompetent and promote 'mates' into decent positions. Conn has let this company become rotten.
Back to the bottom draw...
Do we know what it said previously? i.e is this new, or has it always been there?
