Rcgl2, yep totally agree with how Solgold hold what they have and CGP, but somewhere I read that you cannot just hold land without a reason. My query is if CGP sold all their shares in Solgold, would they lose the right to hold that 15%.

I am going to do my best to try find the info I want, they have some rules that you can have the right to land but you need further rights to mine, if your not in Solgold and therefore not as miner, do you lose the right to the land?

I will keep looking as their mining laws are quite intricate and can be hard to understand at times

Speaking of Warren Irwin have you seen his recent comment on Twitter when being pressed about how CGP will fund its share of Alpala development?

"If Cornerstone is not bought by a larger entity who wishes to be involved in the project, Cornerstone will borrow the money, secured by their 15% stake in ENSA. Please refer future questions to the CEO of Cornerstone."

So the dilution of shares noted the other day mentioned by cornerstone is really to keep the board in full pay, wonder if they do manage to raise some money from this dilution, will they then start selling off their personal holdings?

One thing I wondered about is, I hope others can help me out here, this ENSA company which was set up was on the understanding it was for mining reasons, therefore Ecuador mining body allowed this. Should cornerstone sell their shares in Solgold, would they automatically lose the right to hold that 15% of ENSA as they do not hold a valid reason to keep it?
I might be well wrong here so would be interested in any knowledgeable people here for clarification, just a though really that bugs me a bit

Quady, I think I will never mention this diverse book again, you do have a very fixed view which is not healthy, it can cloud your judgment on many things. You wrote a diverse book is everything, look at the FTSE 100 and tell me if any of those companies don't have a diverse book. ( they all do )
Why do they have a diverse book? It is because they are so highly valued that no one could or would want to own all the shares, also why would they be on the ftse 100? Because they want capital which makes them diverse but in a good way.

Halifax, online banking go to corporate actions, then do chat online to give them instructions on your holding of Solgold, reference number of your account and done, less than 5 minutes.

Have now given all my shares to the chairman of Solgold, Halifax didn’t give me any notice either. I went online to corporate actions but could not find the next link as per the info Solgold gave, I carried out the online chat with a lady who took my instructions, she required the account reference number, within a few minutes all done.
HL informed me this morning that my email request has been carried out whilst logged into my account, they had trouble yesterday for some reason, let’s hope all here back Solgold to push things our way

What would you say is more important to Solgold, a top class company BHP as a partner with their bank roll behind them, or a quick rise in sp which would also raise sp in CGP
That’s my thinking, why have no updates been forthcoming?
My opinion, can you offer a better one?

Earthling, let us say he has better news than we all expected on new and existing mineral results, also let us say NM is in advanced JV talks with let’s just say BHP, would it be wise to raise the sp now before a take over?
With CGP wanting too dilute share holders value more, would it not be a good time for someone to approach them regarding Solgold, I think so but it’s just my opinion

NM has his hands tied as to news being held back imo, I have just given him nearly all my Halifax votes, having trouble with HL who are not accepting emails at the moment, but he will get them.
He has a lot of shares in this company and will not want to just throw it away cheaply

I have nothing against a person coming out with a thought, but to try and sell inside info as if he has it is just sad.
We can all make predictions and somewhere someone will be right, say enough of them and it is more than likely possible

Monte, when the geologists go out doing their thing, they are basically back packing, do their testing and research the area. After let say a week doing their work before either going onto the next site or back to office and present their results.
The site would not be made ready as it has not been determined as to where the best access would be, also where the best geology is to this area.
It all takes time and a lot of research and understanding of what they have found out there.
What we also need to remember is the terrain is not the easiest to get around in, 75 sites in all

Delays, If I recall the company who hires out the drilling rigs have had to make quite a few new ones due to demand. Then you have to gain access to site and level for the set up of camp, then have the new rigs just been made delivered by helicopter no less, so yep I would accept a delay at times.
