You assume good news before the AGM, surely if he was going to release good news it would have been a day before sending out the letter regarding the upcoming AGM. Most people have now voted so it wouldn’t make sense imo
What can you say he would gain before the AGM, the big holders of Solgold shares will already know quite a bit already, just cannot see it myself

Wow, ungrateful person, he has given us Alpala a tier 1 for starters, that alone is worth 80p plus a share imo.
Then 74 tenements over Ecuador and 14 high priority targets, if your that bothered sell your shares and go to Greatland, you shouldn’t hear anything here until after the AGM in my opinion

Colonel, regarding Chinese. I know they have been involved in Ecuador doing many things from building schools to investing in fisheries etc, my concern is the USA being so anti Chinese at the moment I wonder if they really want to risk this much money in South America

As nice as it would have been to get updates as to how things are going, we haven’t and there must be a very good reason.
As I mentioned before, why would you release good news after asking for peoples votes? Especially after they have cast their votes just doesn’t make sense to me.

We all know there is some seriously good news to come regarding high grades at Porvenir, Nicks words in a webinar was it was a geologists dream if I recall correctly.
From the RNS on Porvenir which had really good first assays results Nick said

So stop the negativity here, some are getting touchy due to lack of news, when it comes it’s got to be good, Alpala alone is brilliant and other news is a bonus.
I believe I’m sitting on a fantastic investment here, which can only get better what ever happens, not long to wait after many years, December 17th hopefully will be the start of our Christmas

Why would Nick hold back drilling news? Asking us all to use our votes, but before any news is released. Surely if you want all the votes to be in your favour then you would release great news now, that is before people use their votes, doesn’t make much sense to me unless he has something up his sleeve, which I cannot offer a reason.
He has done a lot as people say to get the company here, he is valued by many here, but to be 100% sure he and the board will stay without any problems makes me smile a little.
I mean what’s the point of releasing news a few days before AGM if all votes have been cast?
He is a shrewd old boy, so what has he got up his sleeve?
This is one thing I am struggling with, anyone got any clues as it’s confusing me, although it doesn’t take much these days

NM needs as many arrows to his bow as he can get, having that many shares is a more comfortable position for him. Big question is who buys them and will they still agree with NM’s proposals, poor old sod needs to be looking over his shoulder all the time

Quady, you presume therefore it’s true, no my friend it’s not as simple as that. They will do what is needed, it’s called business, cold and calculated.
Join forces now with an end goal of offloading their partners later but using them for now, many ways to skin a cat and they will use them all and NM knows it.

Quady, regarding who’s in charge? All share holders, but what’s more important is, are they in Nicks corner or against, if certain players manage to join forces and bring along smaller holders then who’s in charge is the majority, simple as that.

I agree the big majors would love it all and will do their utmost to get it, but to fund their ongoing targets to (here we go PFS, FFS,and if necessary DFS) all their 14 priority targets will cost. They could even go for the mine which would be the quickest to set up and get running

NM has a nice but massive headache I believe, we all shall see soon enough I hope

But it’s not negligible amounts is it? NM is holding back news as we all know, but what news we haven’t a real clue.
Argument sake, if NM released some fantastic results and also mentions let’s say Porvenir is going to be massive, at the same time he proposes selling off Alpala to say Barrick, then what would the share price be, negligible I think not, but we don’t know as there are so many scenarios that can play out here
