Re: Covid 19 mutations9 May 2021 21:55
The Indian 'double variant' has been found in 3 cases in China, in travellers returning via Nepal, according to the Hindustan Times. The rest of the story appears to be a fabrication.
The variant has also been identified in over 500 cases in the UK since mid March, mostly in travellers returning from India before the Red list was changed to require quarantine. Its not thought to be more transmissible than the Kent variant, nor more likely to evade current vaccines. At least that's my current understanding, for what it's worth.
As far as Sareum is concerned - I'm a minor investor looking for positive things later in the year.
