For this purpose, Eurox Pharma maintains a production partnership with Dr. Reckeweg & Co. GmbH, which has over 75 years of experience in the manufacture of herbal medicinal products and which produces cannabis extracts according to the strict guidelines of good manufacturing practice (GMP). In the ultra-modern production facility in Bensheim, the cooperation partners not only meet pharmaceutical standards at the highest level, but also all legal requirements for working with cannabis flowers.
“Sustainability in production is an important part of our DNA. We use our expertise in processing in Germany, we source our flowers from selected partners in Spain and Canada and our own cultivation in Portugal will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021. There we benefit from the advantages of the natural climate, ”emphasizes David Reckeweg-Lecompte, Co-Managing Director of Eurox Pharma.
The company's core business is supported by two further partnerships: On the one hand, the company maintains a scientific cooperation with the Institute for Pharmaceutical Biology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Scientists there are currently researching the effectiveness of cannabis extracts for various indications.
Eurox Pharma also has a stake in the Integro Cannabis clinic in London. There, patients who have already undergone therapy are often advised by medical specialists at the highest level about possible therapy options in the field of cannabis medicine. Voluntary and anonymous surveys are carried out regularly among the patients. Further partnerships with German and European universities for basic research and possible clinical studies are planned.
