Correction - Stuart Rose!
Why hold on when this hasn't found the bottom and continues to sink! and has been doing for months! as respectful of bullish LT investors as I am, this now wreaks of desperation, the business model is not unique and were it not for Ian Rose on the board most would have passed by this one long ago - Just take this one on the chin and move on. GLA.
I do like your analogy, however a comparison to fashion retail whose profits are dictated by a customers tastes, time of year, weather and what the latest celeb is looking like etc is not quite accurate. RM2's product is not subject to these impacts, their customers are purely driven by their own over head costs and if they can save 30% by purchasing a similar-ish (though probbaly not as long lasting or higher grade) product elsewhere, then I'm sure I don't need to tell you whose getting the business - and it's not RM2.....except for the companies where Sir Rose is already sat on the board :)
Theres a lot of new companies offering similar composite pallets at lower costs, so the sales model of a 'longer lasting pallet' isn't really going to cut it anymore - if you bought in low u can bank so up turn, but anyone over 77p has got stung but media hype! - Hope you all bought your water wings and know how to doggy paddle - either that or try using some of the client's left over plastic pallets cause this is going deeper under water!
Even with a new chairman we're not going to see any increase in the SP until the girl who runs this company like a pound land Thatcher, winds her claws in and gets on with the job in hand - one contract is not enough to turn this Titanic around and I for one are sick of seeing my investment die by a thousand cuts - knew I should have averaged out months ago!
I agree it's unlikely, however with all of those negative attributes it's now in a weakened and vunerable position, which makes it ripe for a takeover - so in view of this and that article I wouldn't rule anything out at this stage (nothing surprises me anymore lol), I'm just happy of the rise. GLA.
Even Megan Fox in a bikini handing out free shares and £10 dividends couldn't liven this f****r up :)
Who needs Icebergs, when you've got a board of directors sipping tea and playing with your capital!! TBH peeps I've been reading the same old "we're not selling, there may be good news aheads' post for weeks now - They started when it peaked at 95p and have continued in frequency everytime someone points out the sp has dropped - a classic line earlier was "there have been no real peaks or slopes"..........I'll have what your drinking mate, cause from 95p to 70p looks like one F of a slope when my capitals involved! - Think it's time you showed these directors whose boss and what happens when they are so silently disrespectful to their investors and sell! - you don't need a crystal ball to know this is only going to keep slipping till Sir Stuart Rose opens his trap and gives us all something to cling to! - This is a new float and the board have to learn that if they want our cash they have to keep us informed or the price will do what??........yes Mystic Meg it will CONTINUE to spiral downwards. Apologies if anyone thinks this is tough love or deramping (it's not I sold at 88p) I just despise this sort of behaviour on our markets. gla and I hope you all win.
What's the dividend amount at presently?
I didn't mean that the customers would be taxed, of course its LAD that will get it - however like any bookies I can see them looking at ways of increasing their margin, bookies aren't in the habit of taking growing costs on the chin without doing something about it! and no way is this like HMV! They have faced the same competition from the same areas for the past 5yrs and still contended, this is just a reaction to the budget - Lets see if you still feel this way when the World Cup gets started!
Ah right that explains it - though can't see that having a long term effect, everyone I know who plays those things are basically addicts so it won't put them off lol :)
Well we've just got a good updated broker rating of 177 from Deustche and the dividends ex date is less than a week away, so anyone know why this is so low? - dont get me wrong I'm happy of cheap shares and will top up, but I jsut can't see any particular reason for the fall.
Don't even start me on that toss*r!! he looks like he should be signing on a register not sticking his nose in the budget!!
Completely agree, it's just got to be stop losses being triggered (either that or some children have been allowed to play with daddy's laptop lol) - This will bounce without a doubt, so top up and make hay whilst the sp is cheap :)
Yeah SXX is more speculative than I would normally like, but will wait and keep fingers crossed - However my fear here is that with the descending sp, this has yet to find the bottom. Good luck anyway.
Well look on the brightside, SP has grown a bit today so hope it works out for you - I just dont' see it as a 'revolutionary product' and with various articles ramping/then de-ramping it I just don't see it as a strong sp - but just my opinion and wish you all the best. As for others; I bought in FXPO when it hit 129 and sold at 152p so was happy with that bit of volatility in Kiev lol, but think it's still worth a buy now if your happy to wait for the Crimean to calm down, as the company results were very good, so in a month or so this will be back up. Other than that the two I'm watching are SXX and VOG, both are low at the moment, but with a re-application for planning pemrission on SXX due June/July time that has alot of potential and a good buy at the moment and VOG just loves to take a pounding lol, it's down but will bounce in a couple of weeks. Hope these help ya mate :)
The only news that the market has learnt about this company, is that others have been producing "plastic pallets" since the year dot and don't charge half as much as these guys! Get out whilst you can pal! I said it a few weeks ago and saying it again now, and the price has continued to drop! - it's not like they can even use the Ukraine as an excuse...or maybe some freebie plastic pallets are just what Russia needs to cheer up :)
Bluerose, I don't to predict the future to buy in low and and sell on the bounce - at the end of the day it all equals to one thing = profit! and I'm judging by the senstivity on here that you didn't sell at the peak and are now sore at the slope. If it makes you feel any better, get involved in SXX and QPP both of these have dipped and/or flatlined and should have more interesting futures - hope this makes your mood better :)
Yeah I could be Dan but then where would the fun be in that! - besides I was being kind and consertative last week and got slated for looking out for ppl - so a new approach was required.
Thanks Bluerose, we now know you can copy & paste - but nothing you said was any newer or any different than the SHARES article and now today it's going south again, as I predicted!
