Being green comes with a price tag, l also watched that about dredging the sea bed. Cobalt as we know isn't too plentiful and looks like we are scraping the bottom now to get it.
Open pit mining for minerals or ore or other stuff we use leaves, at best, an ugly scar on the world's surface.
Also read someone said something somewhere somewhile ago li batteries are not that easy to recycle, maybe it's easier now.
When we all have our cheaper to run ev's who will cut down on their driving? How many will increase their usage? May be small incomparssing to fuel, but an increase in rubber wear, another not nice pollutant. Roads flooded with congestion means more roads needing to be built with more scaring of earth's face for the hardcore more bitumen... oil based product, which is heated by l know not what but l'm guessing it"s not battery power, that's minor in the scale of things, but all these add up... that's enough pub talk my finger hurts now.
