I think its good to share info to help each other out. We're not all experts. The temporary removal of the perimeter fences at Heron and Gazelle is part of the ongoing discussions between local and central government on land use. Petro Matad has applied for and received approvals for its 2020 land use from the local authorities and so, with full coverage under both the central and local authorities’ legal interpretations, no further problems are expected in this regard.

With the agreement of the local authorities, the well heads and mud sumps at Heron and Gazelle remain individually fenced for safety purposes and as per our normal procedure security guards are stationed at both locations. We plan to reinstall the fences as soon as practicably possible early in the new year.

I don't understand why we still have not been informed of what's going on with the land permit situation. There is clearly an issue with local Governor and the court chucked the case out when PM tried taking him to court . This happened few months back.I think the investors should be informed of what's going on.

Has anyone ever emailed PM and got response back? Or is it waste of time .

From what I gather the local governor gave order to revoke the land from PM because they do not have permission from local province office. The governor is talking about no permission for use of land and no permission for the work cabins and Rig. PM however has Exploration Agreement with the Mongolian Government.
There was some sort of meeting held for the province and out of 14 Representatives 8 support PM. They for some reason were Originally opposing PM. They have changed their mind and are now supporting PM to carry on using the land and support the 2020 programme. So hopefully expect some good news soon.

Lot has gone on over the last few days. watching the Video they started revoking the land took fencing off and few days later they suddenly changed their mind. Latest video was on the 14th .

I think the latest news looking at the dates on the video is that 8 out of 14 delegates have sided with petro matad . Looking at the commets on Facebook with translate. petrol matad might have the green light. Not an expert but check it out .

Does anyone know anything about some petro matad news on facebook . Its in mongolian Language so no idea what its about but it shows Heron well and something to with some delegates. see if anyone can make any sense of it.

Why are folk selling such small amounts to bring the SP down . Better to just wait till news . We can't be far off.
