JADE Gas Drilling in November.
"Jade Gas" company plans to start pilot production in 4 wells from November
Jade Gas, a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, has announced that it is close to starting the pilot production of the coal bed methane gas project in Umnogov province.
Drilling of the last well of the program, "Red Lake-15", began on August 22. The depth of the well reached 563.9 meters on the fifth of September, and 25 meters thick gas coal was discovered at the depth of 524-551 meters. As a result, the four vertical production wells, "Ulaan Nuur-5", 7, 11, and 15, have met the requirements of the soon-to-be-started pilot production program.
It is highlighted that more gas is expected to be discovered by cross-wells in the future. It is also estimated that the pilot mining program will begin in 3-6 months.
The company has signed a contract with "Major Drilling" for its drilling program. The first well of the cross-production program will be drilled in early November.
Regarding the progress of the project, the CEO of "Jade Gas" emphasized, "We are pleased to confirm that we have discovered additional gas coal in the Red Lake field. This brings us closer to the start of the pilot production program that will begin in November."
