Volumes at The Nord Stream pipeline stood at 40% of capacity, the same as prior to the maintenance works but still well below levels seen earlier this year. Also, Russia’s President Putin warned earlier this week that flows through the pipeline could be slashed to just 20% of capacity later this month unless a spat over sanctioned parts is resolved. Still, the pipelines linking Britain to the EU have been working at full capacity, as the UK uses its excess regasification capacity to import more LNG and resell it as natural gas to Europe. On the week, the contract is set to surge by more than 60%.

So how much will Angs earn once the hedge is covered and what PE ratio will the market place on that as Angs will get the full gas price for this. Eg iog no hedge but it’s cap is less than what it is expected to make from sales each year which on current production is just under £300m and cap only £190m so you can work out some kind of idea how the market will react on value created for holders.

My post is in response to why the sp will not move until the market knows how much is left over for Angs after the hedge is covered which is dependent on gas flow production figures hence the comparison to a company with no hedge ie iog

If the gas sales do not cover the hedge then the sp nose dives. If it does cover the hedge the sp will react to how much is left for Angs after the hedge.

Hence my post on iog not having a hedge and only 10-15p opex so everything above that is profit.

Cash flow covers the hedge hardly anything left for Angs is the issue.

If Angs wasn’t crippled by it’s hedge the sp would be flying now. Have they confirmed 10 scuffs per day yet?

Unhedged iog with opex 10-15p therm is producing 60 scuffs per day currently is due to more than double production soon plus condensate sales.
