IG 'Corporate team'have been absolutely crap. I'm the one pointing them to chat to Price Bailey, about the liquidation, they haven't got a clue tbh.

IG have been crap with dealing with Conduity Capital share holders. Still haven't received any of the S247 shares!

Likewise, nothing for me from IG also.

My thoughts also macmac, let's hope everyone else thinks the same......

I’m in touch with a group of shareholders who have a Telegram account and purportedly represent over 50% of our shareholder base. Their sentiment is to have a general meeting to approve a solvent liquidation of the company and the Smarttech shares + any residual cash to be distributed to the shareholders.

Apologies that this is dragging on but the delay is out of my hands as we’ve been finalising a large VAT reclaim that was finally submitted last month. I have not wanted to complicate this (with initiation of liquidation) as I am advised that we are eligible for the money and it is significant. We have had further questions from HMRC into the claim before it is paid and our accountants who have got a full reconciliation of each entry (and this has been where the time has gone) have already replied.

We have initiated the drafting of the circular and it will be published as soon as possible because we believe the consensus of shareholders is to pursue this route (liquidation and distribution).

Noted that the SM247 price has fortunately moved in our favour and I am hoping that further positive news flow will keep this strong with good liquidity. The rationale of Smarttech was to deliver growth and on that basis CCAP shareholders ending up as SM247 shareholders was always the intent (albeit the original terms for the RTO were on more beneficial terms but unfortunately that was taken out of our hands).

We hope to get the circular out before the end of this month/early next month.

Hi LC, yeah, i also trade using my IG acc...pants to say the least, re: divi payments, i'd received the dividend payment earlier today (late afternoon), then i'm guessing another couple of days to clear into my bank acc...hand smacking face moment

I use IG Trading, very low commission/charges and they include all shares/ stocks. GLA

@Sprout no one can see into the future, mediman has taken a punt, but with these shares one never knows. I've bought at 1.8p, 2.8p and 5.9p (and sold just off peak prices), it's all upto you what you want to do right? I've still a few i'm hanging onto and waiting, but whatever i make i don't think to myself 'oh i could've made more'. I'm happy with any profit (ex GSK employee, now retired and been dealing with their shares for some 34 years). GLA

managed to sell some for just over 12p phew!

Nice one Vinster, same, i'd bought in at 2.8p, sold some when they'd peaked previously but kept the majority of them. Think this will go up and up, mid to long term...let's see hey....GLA!
