Advent International is preparing a takeover offer for the UK’s Tate & Lyle that would mark private equity’s latest attempt to acquire a London-listed group. In Oct 24 this was mooted to exceed 840p, perhaps they can go again.

A rise to 580, with 595+13+7 = 615 was good enough to trim at 574 as near full. Average sub £3, comfortable hold.
