well we shall see jonny, i took my profit, i am happy with the current situation, obviously if a takeover does take place i will be regretting my sale, anyway i have taylor wimpey shares and they are a long hold for me, similar possible future percentage gain with both ennstone and wimpey, i just think wimpey is the better long term investment

It was a educated decision based on the news we were receiving, which was non at all, we did good badseller, hey if it comes back and goes up we will be thinking what if, but with the way it looks i think we did the right thing

jonny, you did foretell this situation, but you said it would be suspended because of a takeover by marwyn, if you read the news, it says a deal with marwyn is very unlikely now, i have been posting on here for the previous few weeks and have said that why are ennstone not teling us anything, on monday i posted and said, no news for 2 weeks, not good enough mr mcleod, i sold my shares monday and made a 60% profit, if there is a takeover and ultimately it would have been better for me to hold and not sell then i will say jonny, u were right, but from what u previously said weeks ago, the suspension would come when news of the takeover was announced, this suspension has come because ennstone believes they might not be able to continue, it is not the type of suspension shareholders wanted

i got out today at 1.26p, i made 60% on my investment, i should of got out at 3p, but there you go, me being greedy, my reason for the decision is ennstone have not given the public any news for over 2 weeks, yes mr mcleod news on his shares, but the price didnt do anything out of the ordinary today after the news, rumours of a marwyn takeover seem to have gone quiet, maybe they were just selling off the needless assets to generate a better cash flow and hope to secure a deal with banks, but ultimately as they have not released any news in 2 weeks or more, i think there is more and more the chance ennstone wont survive, but it could survive and the price will go up, anyway i am going to keep my taylor wimpey shares i bought at 11p as they keep the public and most of all shareholders up to date with how things are going, ennstone dont,

due to what vaughn mcleod has done with his pledging of shares, surely this will send the share price up monday

bad news i think, nothing 4 nearly 2 weeks, i reckon they r waiting for the right time to announce that ennstone is ceasing trading, i am so close to cashing my shares in, i cant see how anything good will happen now

why do you think there has been no news for over a week, you have also not posted anything on here, and why for the last 2 days have people bought early and then sold as late as posibble, are they trying to kick start something?

has anybody got any real reason why the shares jumped to over 3p last week then crashed, was it those big influencing people getting the average joe to jump on the bandwaggon so they could make a quick buck?

there has been nothing from ennstone now for over a week, if they carry on like this the share price is going to slide slowly and slowly down so then it will be worth nothing, come on ennstone, where are you, we need some positive information

it would help if i hadnt done my brains in on horses and roulette over last 3 months, just not patient enough, but i will hold, even if i keep moaning, lol

i dont blame u jonny, its just that i dont have that much money to invest (i am only 21) but, every investment i have ever made has made at least 30% at one time, i aint in for long term gain (like 5-10 years) i would love to be one of those short term investors, but the thing is if i was investing like £1000-£10000 everytime, then i would be taking the profit as soon as, but as i am not, i have to hold out for investment to double, even treble, because at the amounts i am investing, brokers charges are not meaningless

i have ennstone shares, i bought in at 0.57p, with all whats going on, up and down and up and down, i had the chance to sell at 3p but didnt, i dont care anymore, i even want them to go bust just so i can say how unlucky i am, for your information, i bought bradford and bingley shares a month before they were nationalised, and sorry but jonny2toes keeps coming on here saying takeover takeover takeover, *********, it aint gona happen

what % chance do u think it is that marwyn will takeover ennstone, if the takeover does go ahead what do u honestly believe ennstone shareholders will get

i aint bothered it its takes 2 months until i can sell marwyn shares, if i am making 8 fold its all good

takeover sunds good to me, 1 for 3 in marwyn at 16p, so get at least 5p per ennstone share if sell, i am in short term and that will do me, only bought at 0.74p, only got £60 in but, i invested knowing it was a gamble, you have to start somewhere, i cant throw thousands on, not yet anyway

wonder when ennstone 2008 year end results will be public, that will surely be significant for share price and can the announcement of the sale of the us wharf facility put share price up tomorrow?

you said suspension will be quick (wont even know), but then could last months. i guess the share price will go up before suspension or could ennstones share price get suspended then the annoucement be made public? i just checked and looks like marwyn was suspended around 7/8 jan, days before ennstone announced sale of quarry, could this be connected? anyway i bought in at 0.74p so a takeover should make me at least 5/6 fold i would guess
