Look around you FFS! There has always been cyclical temperature and sea rise, but the rate of change over the last decade is at a factor never before seen. You've got to be seriously ignorant not to see and have witnessed this.
In the majority of previous updates the price has risen leading to the news, before falling lower (even) than the price before the good news. On this occasion the price hasn't embraced a rise, so perhaps we could see a reversal of the normal pattern tomorrow?
He's going and will no doubt do so without any humility. Good riddance to the most toxic western leader I can remember. I have a level of vitriol for him greater than anyone I can think of. Putin maybe has lost his puppet, but the mindset of the country needs to be more reconcilatory after such division between various groups. I wish we could import Jacinda Ardern and her government to take control of the UK - lol!
Biden is an environmentally astute man and this will be good for the renewable sector and mining shareholders.
Good morning all. Noting in the past that there has been discussions regarding the methods by which ore is transported the 45Km to Telfer for processing: road, rail or conveyor etc, has there been any intent from NC in this regard, as time is ticking, and two of those options involve significant infrastructure investment / planning?
I am glad this conversation has been had because I am in a similar position and at the end of the year it could be interesting with the volumes of buys and sells I've done to generate investment funds for GGP. In the majority of respects I believe I sold at a loss post the late Mar 'crash' so perhaps not that bad.
My dilemma is that I had maxed out my ISA allowance but currently have a million shares of which 345K shares remain loitering in my trading account. They were for argument's sake purchased for £30K and are worth £60K now. I have clearly made a 100% profit on these and wish to start spiriting these shares away into subsequent year's ISA allowances. This would suggest I can't transfer £20K worth of shares into GGP because these have grown in value; do I therefore need to transfer an amount pro-rata that have accrued less than a £12K gain?
Sorry, it's all a bit complicated for me to understand - my Dad was a career Inland Revenue employee and apparently "that wasn't his area of expertise." - lol!
