The two funds bidding take over GlobalData, have until the next week, the 28th, to confirm their position..

Low volumes of late, high time someone should leak some positive news..

The 4 analysts offering 12 month price targets for GlobalData PLC have a median target of 270.00, with a high estimate of 300.00 and a low estimate of 215.00. The median estimate represents a 42.11% increase from the last price of 190.00

Targets have now noted to anything between 260p and 300p..

Good day today considering the markets are down thanks to the government noy getting a grip on inflation. Probably would have passed 200p today under good economic conditions.

Any ideas on potential offers for DATA. With some analysists suggesting CEO shouldn't accept anything under 400p, valuing the company between one to two billion.

Mirriad Advertising (LON: MIRI) raised a further £100,000 via a retail offer at 0.01p/share. That takes the money raised to £1.6m. The share price recovered 26.1% to 0.0145p but it has still nearly halved over the past week.

Energy as a service provider eEnergy Group (LON: EAAS) has entered a partnership with US-based energy as a service provider Redaptive Inc, which will provide up to £100m to support new projects. eEnergy will project manage and deliver LED and solar on behalf of Redaptive customer base in Europe. These projects will be fully funded and eEnergy cash flow will improve. The current NatWest facility can only be used for public projects. The share price increased 22.2% to 6.05p.

Staff provider Staffline (LON: STAF) has won a new contract with food and drink logistics provider Culina that could be worth £300m over three years. This should commence in the summer. There will be initial implementation costs in 2025. Panmure Liberum has raised its 2025 pre-tax profit forecast from £5.3m to £6m. The 2026 estimate is increased from £5.7m to £8.3m. The share price is 15.4% to 31.4p, which is less than six times prospective 2026 earnings.

This could be another FTC in the making, for those familiar with Musk etc.

That was my thoughts

Perhaps an monetary announcement would have been better to include in the RNS. Such as this new contract is worth several million.

Unemployment is now rising. This very small upwards move will be short lived..

The outstanding Securities will be redeemed on June 27, 2025 (the "Redemption Date") at an amount equal to 100% of their principal amount, together with any accrued but unpaid interest to, but excluding, the Redemption Date (the "Redemption Price"). Accordingly, the listing of the Securities on the Global Exchange Market of the Irish Stock Exchange will be cancelled on, or shortly after, June 27, 2025.

I agree, but the momentum in metal stocks can't be ignored. I firmly believe we will see an upswing in the not too distant future.

Apparently DATA was supposed to be moving to the main index in March this year, so what's happened?
