Adrian Hargrave, CEO of SEEEN, explains how the new funds will accelerate customer growth Watch the video here.
No 1 for me, when putting my meagre amount into Eqtec was the idea of turning waste into energy. I don't have any experience in this industry so appreciate comments from those that do. I realise these big projects could take years and the timescale can be dictated by large partners. As far as UK is concerned there have been big macro shocks to the economy: Brexit, Covid, Ukraine. My main concern for Eqtec is funding requirements in these difficult times. From what I understand, any further fund raising (if needed) through placing could be hard to achieve. And loans will be increasingly expensive.
Fingers crossed we get enough revenue for the brilliant technology before finances are squeezed.
A couple of notes accompanying tables caught my eye. I really don't know if they matter or not. Any ideas?
Anyone know what "excess management expenses" are? Is it a regular footnote? Table 7 Corporation tax.
Also,this note!
"The tax losses have resulted in a deferred tax asset at 25% (2020: 19%) of approximately £1,156,000 (2020: £810,000) which has not been recognized as it is uncertain whether future taxable profits will be sufficient to utilise the losses."
Bit harsh! Probiotix was basically formed around the excellent LPldl, so it is not beyond the realms of possibility that a division/nascent company/spin off, could be formed out of SweetBiotix. Perhaps a bit early, but the sub-divisions of Opti didn't appear to be valued until listed.

I liked this bit from SEPS
Laurent Rousseau, CEO of SEPS, commented:
"Everyone at SEPS is excited by this report which verifies that contaminated plastics waste can be treated cleanly, safely and efficiently by producing an intermediary fuel for power, heat and biofuel production. We look forward to the developing the first plant at our facility in Haute-Garonne, France, as part of our collaboration with EQTEC in due course. The results of the tests place us in good stead for the upcoming permitting phase and will offer the sector a treatment for production of energy."
Very encouraging but probably still a way down the road yet.
How much of the fall in SP (from say mid 50s) do we think can be attributed to:
1. Separate listing of Probiotix?
2. Fall in Skin SP?
3. War in Ukraine?
4. Covid?
5. Failure to deliver on Sweet?
6. Slow progress on Slim?
7. Increase in staff costs?
8. Anything else?
Many thanks in anticipation for replies. Martin.
