I have to say SA was not completely unequivocal about the disputed word "percentage". I think he said something like, {can i confirm double digit percentage royalties. Yes I can these are double digit royalties.}

However, I can't think what else the double digit phrase refers to if not percentage.

FS, yes. So many false dawns and vague promises in the past mean, unless we can see hard facts in financials, everything has to be treated with scepticism.

Yesterday I emailed Opti via Walbrook. I would normally go to SOH direct but as he is ill, I spared him.

Q1. Who is acting CEO? A1. Already answered by AS below, but Walbrook confirmed Neil Davidson plus rest of senior team in charge in SOH's absence.

Q2. How soon can shareholders expect an update on SweetBiotix? A2. I am unable to give information on the next press release that might come out but I have passed your comments in to the Board.

Today I asked a follow up, given speculation by some on Opti selling SBTX. Will update when get response.

I see from substack that Alex is divesting from Opti. I don't subscribe so have just read intro.

I guess he could be thinking, will the cash value of Opti shares appreciate or will the same amount of cash do better in SBTX? Fair play for the openness.

I have done a little of this myself, on a recent spike in Opti. I still hold in hope the remainder of my Opti shares.

PS: have emailed company via Walbrook ré lack of news re SweetBiotix. Also asked who is acting CEO whilst SOH is unwell.

So, possibly news (good or bad?) and/or delayed notification of large sell.

Talking of giggles, the Cavendish assumption of £50m Croda revenues (=£5m to SBTX) in 2030 is heroic in the extreme. I suppose they have looked at similar products' history to pluck this out of the air. Then then try to give it credence as a central estimate! And next do the fancy forward multiple and backward discounting to arrive at a current value to SBTX. Which TBF lots of brokers do.

They might be right; they may even be wrong on the downside. Big pinch of salt with that.

In the footnote after Ashman's comment, it says,

Ady, I would too. But SOH has apparently got further health issues, (Not sure where posters get their info, so I don't want to speculate). However, IMO SOH likes to be hands on, so I'm not holding my breath. Which would be more than disappointing. We were certainly led to believe some products would be in the market by now.

I posted this on PBX. I don't agree with what Steen did re fundraise/ board appointment of Fred. Also, there will always be the chance that something similar might be repeated.

However, going forward, could this be the least disruptive outcome for the business? Up to Steen to prove he can vastly improve revenues leading to profitability. And then, if the SP becomes healthy, will it matter if PBX is bought by private or public company? As per Steen's CV of previously building and selling.

Elrico. Fair comment and I remember you had a small involvement too. Thanks for putting me straight. If you are implying that it was Opti that walked away, then not a great surprise. As you say you can't go into details. But if McGeever and Co weren't to blame, they could at least be said to have backed the wrong horse in that case . Albeit perhaps the form was misleading.

The reason I made the post in the first place was in response to Dustbin (should probably ignore him) citing McGeever in his list of people/ companies making SP target predictions. I'm never a fan of these targets, especially when they are so way above where we are now. They could come true but create unnecessary hype. As you said yourself recently, nothing is guaranteed. But, when we get some hard facts from Croda we will be able to make some predictions with a bit more certainty. Cheers. MU.
