Could someone please explain why people are bothered about todays spread. Surely if you are buying to invest and hold for gains on the ASX listing, then todays spread is irrelevant. The spread would be of more concern when selling in my view. I stand to be corrected and educated.

Possibly someone using a no charge broker to buy, small change to some but a beginning of investment to others.

Hi Edzi I made the only buy showing this morning, a top up for me. I dont understand why you think the spread is deterring people from buying. My purchase was made as an investment, this means I will be holding for gain. Unless people are buying to immediately trade, I cant see why todays spread should deter. Maybe you could explain your rationale to a fairly novice investor. No offence intended by the way.

Just as a comparison, ADVFN are showing Bid 0.35, Offer 0.40, Mid 0.375. May be an error on LSE pricing.

Hi Edzi, I have been looking and could only see the fact that M23 had said they would not participate due to sanctions, and that the two leaders had met in Qatar and had called for ceasefire. I couldnt see a definite agreement. I will continue searching. Tks.
