29th Oct tweet from ODX has brought production increases forward by one month. 900k in January that will be antigen lateral flow, 2m by the end March, so why not CE mark one month earlier for antigen test.

Okehurst comparison to NYCt sensible however they are a one lab test company. Do not compare to lateral flow. P/e are based on quality and length of earnings there will be a lot of companies historic p/e levels will be treated to a lower base if this continues for sometime. Others will be rated higher. Hate to say this but as the world continues to evolve the way it is will we suffer more of these problems.

From production we have 20 weeks to March end. I have read on here that peel hunt has peers p/e at 9. Others have used 4. I have not been able to trace any realistic broker notes regarding the expected value given the companies own forecasts. But there have been many well documented. At a simple ave of £2 test profit 50 weeks production is £200m. Value p/e4is £800m and p/e9 is £1.8bn so between £4.50 and £10. So how companies can any investor go for at the moment where they can be sure that the economic climate underpins the future and therefore which p/e do you tend to go for?

This company has three mainstream drugs on the go with subsidiary contracts rumbling away, there are pharma with one drug and a 10 year development ahead of them with £100m valuations. A director of a subsidiary is not considered an insider they are restricted in the same way in a close period prior to the issue of financials. They do not have access to plc board meetings, info or decisions and there is no reason why they need to be informed of progress in projects. It is likely he is a subsidiary director as part of the package at the time to get him off the main board.
A late return for a deal even as a director is not a sackable offence, at most first offence is slapped wrists. A company that fails on a persistent enough basis will initially be threatened with a large fine if they do not put their house in order et £1m. NFX not near this position. Slightly disappointed with the update. Good that they are ‘accelerating’ plans, that will be interesting to see what speed they can actually reach, hopefully faster than 4mph. There is no continuity to the plan put forward in Nov 19, if there is, there was no update on progress which is disappointing. The RNS stated;
‘ The Group has elected to commence development of NXP002 as an inhaled therapy for the treatment of both IPF and IPF-induced cough, an untreated side effect of IPF that severely affects over 80 per cent of patients. Inhaled IPF treatment offers the prospect of reduced competition, increased efficacy and reduced side effects; overall a more commercially attractive product.
