Financiers without a fully signed facility agreement, but holding a signed offer letter and operating a facility for a purported client, will be interested to learn that it has recently been decided by the Supreme Court that a LOI could be interpreted as binding if it closely resembles a formal contract, or if it infers that the parties intended it to be regarded as such. I totally agree. The award of 94 and 25% relinquishment due on 29 were just 3 months apart.. combined with majors recently entering the waters such as Exxon in the same fairway?

Knowing Total successfully drilled the Brulpadda prospect on just 2D.. I know it's not impossible in this 3D day and age. I'm just wondering what Seapulse mean by statistically de-risked.

I have noticed the likes of ECO and Africa Energy now sitting on their hands. I really thought Africa Energy might sniff around but the S/A Brulpadda discovery has refocused them elsewhere. Having looked deeper over the past months, they appear to be a "jump on board once a major is interested" style company rather than a lead the way.

Well.. Stellar.. We still don't have the answers as to why/what happened there! How on earth did we avoid losing a mandatory 25% of 29 having only a couple of months earlier terminated the mandate? That was some undertaking to achieve that surely?

I suppose the other thought I have is why the "rush" to add PEL 94, awarded only on 19th September 2018!? It is rather unusual to rename the licences correctly on the map to Global petroleum on the 30th October 2018? They dont do things that quickly.. and... the following week, on the 7th Nov 2018 just one week later after that map update they awarded the new licences to TRP and haven't bothered for some 4 months since to add this info..

Ah November, yes! but you would think the Namcor/MME data room would hold and promote an updated/current licence map? it will have been around 5 months in April since TRP acquired them.. Not that I care that much :-) Just curious?

Blimey, another reminder there are so few licences held that suite the Seapulse/Maersk-drilling/Maersk deal and when combined with those stating we are waiting outcomes of other drilling.. the list shrinks even smaller.

Do you think GBP's second full fold 2D seismic was enough to 'statistically' derisk the Gemsbok prospect in 29 for Seapulse? With questions come answers and I can't help but feel Paul Howlet's trap presentation was more of a 'Watch, we have the answers and we are the next up in the Walvis Basin' advert.

I think those answers are also in part known by Tullow, ONGC, Africa Energy, ECO and Pancontinental going by clues within their recent presentations and/or actions but why aren't any of these presenting the information? Possible answer? the end result doesn't end within their licences so why would they?

Perhaps i'm over thinking it all..? Just feels like we are gradually coming out from the shadows?

It is, and Azinam being in PEL 44? Surely data will be shared between the two regarding PEL 30 and why Tullow and ONGC pulled out after the outcome of neighbouring PEL 37, north of PEL 44.. Exxon must be asking if some of the oil in prospects in neighbouring PEL 37 migrated into their licence, that question on its own will lead them to read across PEL 94.
