So from what i can see, Africa oil or Africa Energy wouldn't fund seismic or drilling, they buy into the licence via a percentage in the company.

If.. and it is just hypothetical, but humour me.. 'if' GBP have done a deal with our old buddies at Woodside (who by the way owe us a drill from the Kenyan days with Dana), are they both exhibiting together at the Summit seeking an additional farm out partner..?

Not long after this article was published we terminated the mandate with Stellar, acquired PEL 94 and now both GBP and Woodside are suddenly planning to have an exhibit at the African Summit in May? Coincidental? Well worth watching this just as much as Seapulse imo...

Good post J. Woodside has been bugging me all day! They are one of the companies sponsoring the event? One current licence in Africa which has already reached FID and partnered with Cairn. Why and what would they be exhibiting at all? It's a $billion dollar company?! Whatever is going on, we sure will be visible at that Summit in a few weeks.

Woodside look like a fat out of place elephant in that room at the moment.

That acquisition happening during the continued apathy stage the board are apparently suffering? You might do well to listen to Azinam talking.. the link is about 20-30 posts below. Explains an awful lot such as why tiddly companies such as GBP are where they are. There sits the opportunity. Fair enough if it's not for you! But I've carried out way too much research that's available to simply accept boardroom apathy.

That line? Exit strategy? I think you mean a farm out enabling us to progress the licences to drilling targets? Its a lot shorter now we have 94 making the opportunity far more attractive with the follow on possibilities that did not exist with just 29. I learnt that from Africa Energy and the basic starting point to invest. I only have access to the same information you have.. so.. I'll add imo..

Totally agree! I just wish someone would challenge the assets rather than sentiment.

Well even if they are? Suppose you are right?.. take a look at their holding.. we'll over 40% of the company so, by you're logic.. their main self interest will be to make this company a success, secure a deal, drill wells, find oil and retire multi millionaires..

Maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong? You're opinion is valid to you, however looking at current events not just within the company but also outside, I personally don't see apathy at all. I've asked a lot of questions, posted tonnes of relevant information, maps, facts, statistics, all of that information being historic, current and forward looking.. rarely has anyone challenged anything I have said other the same old opinion you post.. does apathy belong to the board or to investors? I see the board working..

I can understand Woodside being in attendance, I can understand them even speaking, but I don't understand them exhibiting there? What are they exhibiting? One licence/discovery in Senegal already going through its FID with Cairn? Doesn't sound right??
