The very idea a company such as Panmure, arguably considered gold standard would create a note potentially luring its client base to invest in GBP on an asset about to be lost In 2-3 months and therefore making the other worthless is simply absurd!
The idea a company like Panmure would risk its reputation and therefore client base on a £2-3m Micro cap company as it failed to do its homework is equally absurd!

No it is not Geo. it is better to drill on PEL 94 and test the Sandcastle lead at the same time as Welwitchia Deep yet to be announced which sits only in PEL 94. Two targets one drill.. wakey wakey...

No, it’s not a mess. TRP will have to be in board yes. We share a director so it’s hardly a problem. TRP would be only too glad to get the money it spent plus a lot more on Welwitchia back with a drilll and discovery and having to do very little yet would derisk their assets according to YOU! Glass 99.99999% always empty as you move your own goal posts to ensure just that!
(reminder - abandoned drill due to rig issues, ever higher costs - $80m and abandoned as would have cost an additional $40 m on top to continue but you know this already - can’t be bothered?? Ha!)

I dare not mention Cormorant was estimated to contain prospective resources of 124 mmbls of recoverable oil. Tullow Namibia held 35% stake in PEL 37, while ONGC Videsh ownEd 30%, Pancontinental Namibia held 30% and Paragon Oil & Gas owned the remaining 5% interest at spud.

The yellow section runs across both licences Geo. The facts are written in black and white. GBP P50 671m v TRP P50 224m. You can suggest a company would want to drill all you like in TRPs smaller portion but the fact is those depths/crest in yellow runs across both licences yet GBP hold 3 times as much of the P50 oil, GBP holds the licence, GBP holds the better running room.
I couldn’t care less if you invest, don’t invest.. it makes absolutely no difference to me or the path of GBP.

You only have to look at TRPs announcements.. Linking their prospects to GBP’s and in particular Welwitchia Deep to show you that they wanted PEL 94 back.

I had a similar thought when PEL 94 was awarded to GBP rather than relicensed back to TRP with the other blocks a month or two later. Namcor may have advised the ministry that this is the better option in the bigger picture. Not long after GBP were able to become members of NAMPOA for the first time as it now has running room. Hence, I am not worried that Namcor will be advising the ministry to allow either an extension or a new licence from stage 1 as per TRP next door.

Well... isn’t it a coincidence GBP recieved contacts with counterparties regarding a possible farm out around the same time as an unsolicited approach by a major regarding assets held in Namibia.
If and maybe’s but the two may be connected. GBP playing it down, TRP egging up all their Namibian portfolio. My point is they may be the same thing regarding Welwitchia. Success on this location unlocks an awful lot of deep water prospects.

Lateral migration described as thief channels and conduits. That was the outcome of Cormorant,a high chance some of their oil has accumulated into the south east corner of 94. (Read across is clear - RNS Cormorant drill)

A successful farm out with those counterparties is missing. Perhaps naive to ignore the possibility the Namcor 3d deal happened to facilitate just that.

You have made me research again Geo! I assumed Marula sat above Welwitchia, it does not. However, the latest presentation reveals yet another prospect/lead we are yet to hear about called ‘Sandcastle’. This appears to be where the notional well is located to drill through both prospects and shown in PEL 94 as Sandcastle does not enter TRPs acreage. Looks a similar size to Marula? Impossible to tell.

Page 7 of TRPs old presentation clearly shows the crest of Welwitchia in PEL 94 (previously Delta) you will also see a very large fault separating Welwitchia from Alpha and Gamma making a charge from the Walvis rather difficult for Alpha and Gamma (imo)

So, Geo, a question. If GBP’s prospects are up dip structural traps around the regional high and structural traps are being touted as ripe for trapping the oil, how can the oil then migrate further north into those 4 way dipped prospects on TRP’s acreage? It’s trapped structurally. Unless TRPs prospects are sitting directly above the source kitchen? Are they? This is why I say TRP Alpha and Gamma may be charged from the Namibe basin?
