Suggesting that some investors are taking a legal case against Keras due to 'misinformation' around the Calidus divestiture... I'd imagine it was where folks were trying to get out at the top AND capitalise on the Calidus share issue and got burnt.

As I said, I don't see the company being 'hit' by this. It is more a Nomad/Broker issue - and an element of risk taking by the investor themselves.... it tended to be the trading window of the Brokers that caused many of the issues, the difference between the trade being executed, completed and registered.

It's interesting that Phosphate gets a mention, given our Utah play, but I wonder if it might just be a red herring that prompts us to look for something that fundamentally isn't there.

Togo would in essence be a competitor to our product, I'm not even sure there's an opportunity to provide consultancy support... unless explicit non-competes were built in.

Good to hear news coming out that gives some confidence on the country moving in the right direction. I won't get excited until I see an RNS or a photo of Russell (or another Keras official) with the signed permit secured and in hand.

Be surprised if this 'lands' on Keras. More likely it will be the miscommunication of the Nomad or brokers that will face review.

Yes, you have to pay any CGT at the point of transfer, then when it's ISA'd you are sheltered from future CGT impacts.

At current share price, it wouldn't take too many years of dividends (once at full production volume) for the shares to make themselves free carry.

With the returns from the Calidus demerger, in essence, my Keras shareholding is free carry, and the average price is notional.

However, I would like to see the share stand up for itself against my personal book values. It certainly has the potential to.

My ISA is averaged at 0.3p, my nephews' holding is averaged at 0.525p and my SIPP is averaged at 0.15p

Hi Prop - as my business is a limited company, if I wish to invest any of my retained earnings into shareholdings, I need a designated business trading account. Obviously, there are different tax impacts to an individual trading account.

Agree, Sweet. I'm hoping to keep a decent slug locked up in both companies for the long term, as I see some solid and consistent dividend potential - possibly replacing the majority of my annual income.

I am likely to need to cash out a certain amount in the next 18-24 months, and my holding in Keras is considerably larger than my holding in Calidus, so it's likely to come from that pot - subject to at least *some* of the equity growth I'm predicting!

I have a similar dilemma to PC - I have some retained profits in my company that are doing very little in the bank, so am toying with opening up a business trading account with a reasonable percentage destined for KRS and/or CAI

If (and it's a big if) we get the Togo license in November, I'd say the best approach would be to buy Keras now, and flip it after the license into Calidus.

Lots of ifs, buts and maybes, and a dependency on that crystal ball, mind.

Assuming a medium term investment (say 3 years) I think at today's money/prices, you'd ultimately get highest year on year dividend yield from Calidus.

Higher opportunity for equity 'multi bagging' from Keras.

With the Blue Spec acquisition, I think everyone is (probably wisely) speculating on another, sizable equity raise before or when we commence construction. I've just got this feeling in my water that there won't be.... at least, not at anywhere near the expected size....

Thanks jr71 - that's really good to know! Did you incur any fees or reduction in the number of shares held in the process? If it was a straight move/transfer, I may kick it off sooner. I was inclined to wait until a period of relative stability, in case of any sale/re-purchase activity that would be required.

Upon demerger, I was initially considering a quick exit on equity growth from Calidus within year one of Production.

I now think it will remain in my portfolio (at least in my SIPP) as a long term dividend provider (pending corporate action, of course).
