If we were listed on the ASX we possibly could be in 5th position in the ranks of ASX listed gold producers and this is even before Havieron comes on line.

Looks like a very good deal to me. Yes there’s some mildly irritating stuff in there but there always would be and I doubt I’ll be irritated by it for very long. Now let’s get this show on the road.

Hi Ace, I’ve moved to a different thread 😀, you may well be right in a small number of cases but I think most times peoples motives are genuine. Even Shaun Day has used DeGrey as a comparison in so much as to say look at their market cap compared to ours. Anyway hopefully soon there’ll be no comparison to any of them as we’ll be in a different league.

These things work both ways.Off on a tangent a bit sorry, but I honestly can’t remember how I found out about Greatland Gold but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was because someone had politely and informatively posted about it on another companies chat page. I can’t think of any other way I would have known about it, me not moving in mining/exploration circles. I bet I’m not the only one. So obviously this makes me a bit biased but I’m happy to get information from anywhere. The more information the merrier.

Freddie we had the opportunity at the last AGM to vote on the authority to allot shares for certain reasons. The amounts they are able to allot under that authority are in the resolutions/special resolutions. If they wished to exceed that amount i believe it would be subject to further shareholder approval.

Tax avoidance, it’s only a crime if you get caught, unless you’re a former chancellor and then it’s just a “careless mistake”.

Hi sandgrounded, I did post a few weeks back the accounting criteria for classing an asset/group of assets as “held for sale”. Amongst those criteria are that the company has to be demonstrating serious intent to sell the asset/group of assets at a reasonable price and there is also a timescale to try and adhere to. Newmont have already classed Telfer/ Havieron as “ held for sale”.

Also bear in mind non of the other divestments have completed a sale yet.

Probably true JS.Buyers love desperate sellers. Just look at Telfer,Newcrest first tried to sell it years ago, now Newmont have got to throw 70% of Havieron in with it to try and shift it.😀
