I’m thinking the same.Now that we are mining and producing, I have to say I’m quite happy with no news for now. To me it means all is well.

I’m no expert in this and TBH I haven’t looked into it in great detail mainly due to the fact that not being Australian it doesn’t directly affect me. But there also appears to be tax benefits for Australians either personally or via funds,investing in ASX listed entities which may not be available if they invest in a company solely listed at the time of purchase on AIM, this may go some way to explain why they would wait for the ASX listing before purchasing or I may have got it all wrong. There are no doubt probably other reasons as well. I’m probably just being lazy, but any info on this from anyone would be of interest. No worries if not.😀

With this, it highlighted the tax advantages of dividend imputation for Australian shares are “compelling” in delivering strong after-tax returns to members, though funds will need to navigate concentration risks.

“The key issue will be whether there will be enough capacity in the ASX to support this level of demand from superannuation funds, and any consequential impacts on assessment against APRA’s super product heatmaps,” it observed.”

Think they need a new (to them) company to invest in.

Put another way, is it more common for them to invest in ASX listed companies or companies solely listed on AIM?

Freddie I don’t know, but the other question to be asked may be “how many Australian superannuation funds are currently invested in any solely AIM listed companies?” and “if there are any, are there many examples?”

Yes.When Shaun Day has spoken recently about the Feasibility study phrases he uses do seem to indicate Greatland had other ideas about how best to optimise the mining of Havieron. Should be interesting.

Feasibility study???? There’s hundreds of years of mining and financial experience at Greatland Gold. Beats a few hundred pages of words and numbers in my mind any day.

Yes, but I think Bamps’s point is they are producing less than half what is expected from Greatland.

From the perspective of the powers that be at the ASX themselves you’d think they would be quite keen and therefore amenable to get Greatland onboard.

I logged into ii this morning and it was like a revolution was about to start. My SIPP’s in first class, my ISA in second and my trading account account goes from first to second to third on a weekly basis it doesn’t know where it’s place is. I’m off to the bank now to withdraw the Walney residents Christmas club money, they are all coming round to pick it up tomorrow. In true Christmas spirit I’m half tempted at these prices to stage a burglary tonight and use the money to buy more GGP shares instead. LSE……Like Something off Eastenders.
