morning, dan... i viewed the melodyvr stuff on youtube and found it... vaguely what i thought it would be, so no bad thing. not quite as comprehensive as a video game as it's not possible to digitise the real world to the same extent and, as i understand it, your fiew, while 360degree, can still only be from the fixed points of cam position?
regardless, would happily get back into the sp once this placing/investment has shaken out. i won't be surprised to see the sp drop to 5.5 or a tad lower as, whatever you say, it's a placing... :)
his investment is just part of the larger deal from earlier and that was the kicker to the sp.
either way, this is a good discount... worth adding... just waiting to see how low it might get first...
well, it is, although it's the equivalent of a placing, as they're new shares... and at 4.5p. so, it's nice to have the money but that news is already in the price from earlier in the month.
this is just now his perk... while the share is in the ascendancy, don't be surprised if there's a minor hiccup here today... even if iit's only for the morning.
gla.
afraid i agree with moljen... £350k is housekeeping money for PREM. and the fact that it's going to be at 90% of previous trading price means that the closer you get to the dates then the lower the sp gets and the larger to placing will have to be to meet the costs.
without other cash, this is just a way to transfer more of the company to roach's mates... we all know he's going to end up being dattels buddy on the board of circum and so it's just a sweetheart deal between the two of them. that said, not a lot to be done about it, unless there's something else in the pipeline before repayment dates.
if that is aimed at me then i have no idea what you're talking about as i don't bother with advfn. but i agree that noone really cares what either of us thinks as most folk are just looking for confirmation of their own position... and the occasional contrairian view to keep their feet on the ground.
but i'm as much looking forward to 3p as the next investor... i'll just get their via a slightly different route.
good luck to you.
why would anyone sell 6 million shares to keep the price down?
i think i prefer sean's smiley answer...
cheers, all.
blimey, some people go to any length to try and throw a barb... school internet club must be open.... :)
interested to understand what the difference is, besides frequency? i think you're dressing yourself up as some kind of moral investor whereas we both know we're all just investors. and, in the end, when you sell your shares do you worry about who's going to buy them or whether they'll hold their value or do you breathe a sigh of relief if you sell at the top of a rise? you can have ethics about the kind of investment but not in the duration you hold.
i'm not going t say 'greed is good' but it's certainly how you make more money and more money is good.
and, tbh, the only times i've made any proper money is by not being in for the long term... in fact, most holders on aim and even ftse are lth are only that through default: because they don't fancy realising a paper loss... which, if you're honest with yourself, is pretty much the case here.
the only difference here is that almost everyone anticipates a return to 3p where we'll all probably pass the baton on to someone else because noone's really sure if this can go higher than 3.5p. but it won't stop us selling... and i doubt, unless we see real buying at that point, that anyone here will continue to hold.
still, that's a conversation for another time.
until then, look forward to a couple of ii's to add to tangent's interest here.
good evening, all.
not really, just based on having been a tv producer and having been a V, Reading and had crews there... obviously, i'm probably a bit behind the times now but i know what's usually allowed and what isn't as far as permissions, etc.
hey, i even know melvin benn!
but i'm sure i'm v behind the times regarding what's been offered and, tbf, content IS what is needed to showcase this... good ol' liam payne isn't going to do the biz on his own...
(and, personally, still more interested in hearing what plans they have for the treatre...)
gla.
how can you talk about 'greedy' in the stock market when the objective is to make as much money as possible and then... make more money?
we're not talking about 'fair' prices... we're talking about guessing where the peaks and troughs are or will be and putting our own hard earned there, to multiply.
greed is what makes the market work... i don't see you thinking that 10% was enough today... isn't it 'greedy' to be looking for 3p+?
honestly, stuck for words... so i'll end with a smiley, to take the edge off... :)
oh, and i sold some to see if i could get a greedier ower price on the open tomorrow.
gla.
if you mean by 'transparent' that i'm now anticipating a bit of a sell off into eod or a cheaper start in the morning... you're correct. if the price isn't going to get to 2p then i'll look to get more for my money by trying to buy some cheaper... it's looking like buyers are now put off by the sp... only calling what i see from the trades.
but i'll be okay, either way...
oh, and apologies for sticking my oar in...
if you don't mind me interjecting...
reason they're voting for a bj is because they're desperate to hold the party together...nowt to do with the direction of the country or even politics, it's the survival of the party... been like that for decades with the tories...never shook off the anti eu movement in the tory party and it's done for consecutive leaders from heath onwards.
johnson is only interested in being in charge... he'd happily be on the prow of the titanic if it meant he could wear the peaked cap and brocade.
he's as poor as trump but can speak latin and english... as opposed to trump who speaks brainfarts.
anyway, where's babs?
is margaret planning her escape route by getting discount air fare? (i'm joking, obviously)
maybe they're doing it in 325k and 250k chunks!
i'm joshing, of course... although i can see them doing it controlled style into the rise... although i accept that they're probably looking for some kind of synergy and cooperation between the two... just saying they've already made 40-50% on any scraps they decide to take out for sandwich money.
looking like a bit of a sell off from pi's now that it's reached max buyers... though if the price drops more than a few %...
thank you dan... i'll have a look at the mobile app... but, having looked at the facebook thing someone posted, all i see is normal footage with fixed shots by a standard camera and so i'm not sure how it helped... a bit like selling a colour tv on a black and white and talking about the colours...
but i'll hold off any other crit until i've viewed the app (though not liam payne... i have standards!)
gla.
i honestly don't think any concert is going to be filmed in VR,at least, not from the stage, unless it's from the wings or front of stage, as per usual..
what i can see is a lot of backstage stuff giving unavailable footage to fans... no way artists or concert orgnaisers are going to let someone get in the way of the action, especially if they have choreographed stage performance.
this is more the effect of the named collaboration than anything else... plus another test bed for results.
can't tell whether american rnb is where it's at, re. vr headsets but, as it'll be viewable without maybe the american link is the better one.
tbh, i still think folk are imagining video games style perforamnce where everything is digital and manufactured, instead of reality.
now, a theatre performance, i can see but even that would have to be a private performance, shot like a feature film, to allow for maximum options... unless i've got this hopelessly wrong? in which case i'll just buy on the dips and hope the pi's push me up with their enthusiasm.
gla.
oh, and i really wouldn't be surprised to see this slightly lower than placing price. be a good time to get in... i'd rather be the one selling into a rise than those ii's...
true, but i can't see what news can come that isn't out of the ordinary and typical for the banking industry in general.
they've pretty much lost their 'fabulous' status as top challenger bank and i can now see some of the more internet savvy banks like monzo taking that title (not, i don't think, that you can buy into that bank?)
the growth of the retail banks will continue but it's already established plan... they're already recognised as a good retail bank but now have a battered identity.
i can see this climbing with the ftse but not significantly on its own steam... ii's have a much longer timeframe in mind that me, certainly. wouldn't want to consider any share atm for longer than a few months, at best... can't see this doing more than 30% in a year... but wtfdik!
gla.
that is, tank it even more...
and, not trolling... just saying if the sp jumped 50% overnight, then i too would consider baling and wait for a presumed spike... but, then, i'm not tangent.
