Great news is that Avacta has a lot in the progress and when we reach the right time for it to be RNS'd, it will be. When thing I recommend impatient shareholders is to take some time away from the screen. It takes a lot of experience to be able to get things right with your portfolio and at the beginning, the most difficult thing is to take a break.

There is so much going for the company. A lot of news on the horizon.

As it's unlikely to make a massive difference to LTH investment portfolio, I'd say that it doesn't matter when the trial news is released. We can take the standard procedure of hold for news. I'd only be worried if I was shorting or trading.

I'm in this for when the acquisition news arrives - which will rerate Avacta into a completely different category.

It's even more important to have testing and especially tests from companies that can rapidly adapt to new variants.

@Wyndrum, I'm glad you've shared your experience and it's very relevant to the discussion. In terms of news, Avacta is required to update the market based on news specific to the company, that is not generally available and would significantly effect the price. Once we reach this criteria Avacta will I'm sure make this available.

In the meantime, what is great to know is that the test is now out on the market, AVA6000 is going into phase 1 trials and from my perspective, the sentiment is strong. This was also evident in Myles tweet.

What I particularly liked about Myles tweets was that they are informative. What we can look forward to "in the immediate term, I think #AVCT's LFT news (on sales, partnerships, manufax) will shortly catalyze a powerful recovery in #AVCT's SP."

I couldn't agree more with this great post by a respected and well seasoned investor. I wish others were as informative.

Yes Myles is correct and I feel the same, he says "I am quietly confident that we'll witness one of the greatest rerates seen on the junior markets in years."

Avacta meets the requirements for shareholders by releasing specific news, that is not generally available and would significantly effect the price. As long as they meet this criteria, they haven't really punished you, so don't be too offended.

I'm here to make money as long as the companies I have invested, I feel, will make a significant impact on our society. Avacta fits that bill. Just to name two, AVA6000 will transform the lives of cancer patients and Affidx will transform our testing and everyday movements. Myles is correct about Avacta, it will likely be one of the biggest re-rates we will see on the junior market.

@Trek, I appreciate that you think they should be extra thick skinned etc. but agree with "That should be reported".

Avacta and the CEO have done a terrific job, I'm looking forward to the company helping save peoples lives, that's where I've put my money.

I'm particularly looking forward to home use authorisation in the EU and further sales, partnerships manufacturing.

Myles has hit the nail on the head again. I have to agree with him that Avacta will become one of the biggest re-rates in history of AIM stock market. My view is that his point on angry PIs is also correct.

Part of this anger is from investors whose expectations are based on pipedreams as opposed to reality. Secondly there are those who have invested late and are currently underwater (investments are based on your own research). There is also faux anger by those who are shorting the stock in the hope that it would drive the price down.

In any case, if I was AS I would do the same and not put out any further news until things are concrete. I'm very excited by the incoming news for Avacta and I will be holding for the long term.

Vaccines are not 100% effective and as such, vaccines, therapeutics and testing are critical for the fight against Covid for the foreseeable future.

Good question. I would assume that the acquisition process for Mologic didn't occur overnight yet the relationship between Mologic and Avacta remained strong. Although the enterprise has become not for profit, Mologic will continue to develop as a company and having further improvements on their lateral flow assays will only have a positive impact on the company.

I would partially agree with this comment, but I think the negatives out weigh the positives.

There is variable interpretation on this. It sounds like the relationship with Mologic is still strong, but don't feel a joint test is required by market demand. I can understand why Al Smith would say that i.e. Avacta have an exceptional test already.
