It's a near 40% drop in a month. Clearly H&W acquisition appears to be progressing more slowly than anticipated but would that cause the drop.....I can't think it would. There is the non refundable 500k that could be lost if they pull the plug, not insignificant but does not equate. Funds through a financial arrangement were in place so no need for raise........its puzzling. In any event, H&W was a sideshow to the core business which appears to be progressing well or so we are told. Markets don't like uncertainty, particularly on aim, and lack of news compounds a fear that something is wrong which will unsettle PI's. I think that's all it is as volume during the fall has been pretty low. Waiting game but feels like an opportunity at these levels.

Hermes have built 1.5% and then you have BOD and punters like me that hold far to many, I would imagine that 65-70% are held in the clutches of a few. Parex look interesting and are large Cap.

Cracking re entry opportunity after the recent 3p+ spike. spud as promised, quietly getting on with finding value for stakeholders. JM has form and working on exploiting under the radar assets. Behind that pleasant demeanour is a guy that can sniff out opportunity supported by his experience and networking options.

They are very twitchy and react quickly to any buying now.....possibly not a great deal of float about.

Probably not a bad shout re spread. If that's the case then they like us are are anticipating a decision imminently, the last 3-4 days we have seen this approach.

No RNS so simply lots watching and herd mentality kicked in, this could well fall back to 55/60 hard as the herd realises false dawn and lock in any gains. Will wait for another go!

I know, I've a lot invested on Amerisur that inhibits having a crack at other opportunities identified. However, sitting tight in the hope of 30%+ is more than worth the wait when compared with handling other hot potatoes that I have less knowledge . In all honestly when chasing such crazy, and yes 30% is crazy, gains on other movers can only be playing with fire. I'm sitting tight.

I agree, the last two days the MM have opened with a low bid and wide spread. I think they are testing resolve to see if they can drop the SP again prior to the next RNS. We have had a few weeks of radio silence and We are about at that point where finger nails are being chewed once more and drops could give the impression that something is known in the market and weaker holders will sell. On the flip side, those who have been watching on the sidelines speculating about the potential take out price might see this as an opportunity to get in below the recent highs.

Looks like Ironveld saga drawing to some sort of conclusion, up 80% today. Let's hope a conclusion is close for GC's main retirement pot!.....IMHO we are very very close to decision time.

The algo trades are working hard to keep a lid on this. Feels ready to move north again. Very few ord sells below 19p, pi's left in have a very firm grip of there stock.

Yep, they were on the bid at 16p on Friday, historically they move first, it does indeed feel like something is out the bag and that we are close.

Following the meetings in Bogota, this is a message to interested parties that there is indeed a front runner prepared to offer cash for an outright sale. Those interested parties who have indicated an alternatively structured deal that they felt could be attractive enough will be under no illusion as to what is required to be in the melting pot. Agreed, disappointing there is a leak and that they have the MM's ear. It's likely that sharp directional moves over the coming weeks will correlate with the ebb and flow of new positional plays from our board and bidders.
