HarChris - agreed, there will be a period of time where BMN will be able to capitalise on the demand shift prior to when new producers can come online to meet that demand.

There’s no question in my mind that we aren’t on the verge of a multi-year bull market for commodity metals, driven by the desire for energy independence and to meet climate goals. Better to be in early and ‘skate to where the puck is going, not where it’s already gone’.

4p a share, very, very cheap IMO. Took 230k shares today for the SIPP. Will sell them for £1.00 a shares or higher in a few years time.

HarChris - Haha, we’ll see - by the way I wasn’t just referring to stop loss cascade. PI’s will feel the urge to sell at certain %’s below their buy, so sells can cascade not just based on stops (which to be fair on BMN so don’t use).

Fair point - I won’t mention it again, let’s just see what happens here at this inflection point.

CoffeeCups - I wouldn’t hold onto hopes of 1.5p / share, you’ll get sidelined and forced to buy higher with that thinking IMO.

I’m bullish on BMN, but still like to challenge it and hear everyone’s views.

Next week will be interesting, let’s see what happens. Cash ready to buy up capitulations below 4p, IMO it’s not if it’s when, the tourists must be purged.

It’s all incredibly bullish stuff, so why aren’t the big players stepping in and clearing the order books down here? Genuine question.

I think the answer might be they see more SP downside coming.

Tekanalyst - good to hear, I saw somewhere they had approx revenues of $11m, but I have no idea as to the accuracy of the web link source.

BMN does seem very good value down here, but like many I’m concerned about 4p breaking and the implications of that before I make my next investment move. This will be my last one for a long while, so need to make it fully count. Part of me thinks ‘wait for the reversal’ but it’s likely to be aggressive and then there’s the risk of shares being available in enough size when the buying really starts again.

What I do know is markets will be volatile next 2 weeks due to lots of US companies reporting and the bank rate decisions. I’ll hold off until the dust settles on that and we get the quarterly update, could sell off on the day of its release anyway if news is anything but spectacular and then maybe recover few days after.

Tekanalyst - do you don’t see multiple taps of support as bearish price behaviour..? I suppose it could be seen as strong support by some at 4p, but we lifted up and tested 4.5 and got rejected in the last rise do that’s resistance now.

I still think we get one more push down, but when we do see the bottom here it won’t stay there for long and that’s your sign.

Mrcruiseman - the SP is still in a long term downtrend, so you need to consider that.

As for whether 4p will be breached, IMO I believe it probably will, and fairly soon. Will it cause cascading sells - possibly, there will be plenty of weak handed PI’s in the current 4-6p range of the last 7 months that will throw the towel in if they see price doing not what they had anticipated.

I’m predicting a capitulation event, but doesn’t mean it will happen. TBH - as much as it’s painful to see as a holder it will be healthy, we can’t move up until the dead wood is cleared.

Oh and I’m a biased holder also as I’ll be backing up the truck if we do get capitulation, so there’s that to consider.

Most investors want the updates sooner rather than later, I get that, but if it doesnt happen and BMN issue the RNS as far out as the middle of May, it's equally misleading to suggest it's likely to be next week. This is what I mean by a 'balanced view' and not being biased to one way of thinking (which is the max positive, max optimism view).

2 weeks later compared to issuing at the end of this month, when most people here (including yourself) expect it to be issued, is what I meant. I did not mean 'late' from a company procedure or governance perspective.

Pdub, good point you raise about what the production updates should be focussed on, yet Bushveld tend to incorporate what they wish. In other words we should expect less RNS’s, but each should carry more value information wise.

I’m going to ignore the ‘reports late’ challenge, feels a tad pedantic and I think you know what I mean anyway.

Mrcruiseman - it’s a good point. 4p has been the bottom so far, but the ‘surprise’ will be if this breaks (likely) and then we get a stop hunt below 4p cascading. IMO big stop hunt deep into the 3’s and then run it back turbo. NFA, DYOR.

Reports have been up to two weeks late in the past, could be into May before we get it.
