Hmmm, requires shareholder approval and all of sudden we see more shares in the hands of institutions who will be more supportive than anyone of approving the debt refinancing. Just a coincidence eh, or perhaps, just perhaps it’s all part of the plan…

Will be interesting to see what their share position is of the end of May once it updates - looks like it updates monthly.

In fact if we are indeed the accumulation phase here, we have broken through the 4p support of the 4-6p range and this would therefore constitute the ‘spring’ phase of a Whycoff accumulation.

By the way folks, it’s just my interpretation, I don’t confess to know it all or have a crystal ball. Don’t make trades on the basis of or take this as FA.

If nothing else it winds up the Trolls and perhaps gives the shorters something to consider over the long bank holiday.

So what your saying is Badger man, that after accumulation (SP range bound) the SP can’t fall further, erm - why not? I’d fully expect a good shakeout prior to any eventual uptrend and that, I believe, is where we are at now.

Badger man, the SP HAS been trapped in a range between 4-6p until recently - going sideways. Check the SP chart - anyone can see that - on a high time frame it’s even more obvious. Thanks for confirming what I thought though :-)

Whether I do or I don’t is immaterial (neither do you) - what’s clear is Baker Steel has recently added 18m+ shares from zero.

Great find FB - I do believe Baker Steel sold out their original position around a similar time last year, and so based on this we can assume they re-accumulated in the range of 4-5p.

So now we have Baker Steel re-accumulating at these levels and Orion taking shares at 6p.

All makes sense, the SP has been in a fairly sideways range until recently for months, which can be indicative of accumulation. Now we are moving down fairly aggressively - could be the last push to shakeout retail…

Anyone who sold this week might feel a bit silly after this spot.

‘Numb’ not ‘dumb’ - haha, although plenty will say it’s dumb to invest here. Good - let them, Orion knows and so do I.

I’ll say one thing about becoming an investor in BMN, it’s toughened me up no end. I didn’t know draw downs until I invested here and it definitely requires a mindset change.

That’s the thing about conviction investing - so long as you can accept once the money is invested it’s staying there (I.e selling isn’t an option so long as the business fundamentals are intact) you become almost dumb to the movements of the SP as it falls.

It’s the strangest thing, You do need ‘Diamond’ hands for this sort of thing though, without the conviction and strength of belief many will hover over the sell button.

HarChris - I wouldn't waste your time, if investors cant get that the SA economic situation is divorced from the fortunes of BMN then they really cant be helped. Let them sell out and with any ray of hope those shares might end up with someone that actually does get it, haha.

Ah, there’s always a narrative to explain the drops. I’d quit trying to rationalise it and accept this is a game of liquidity and so long as there’s buyers willing to come in higher and sell lower it will continue I’m afraid.

It’s batten down the hatches time, wait it out and see what comes out the other side. Or you can sell of course, that’s another option and that’s the goal of AIM - to try and take your money.

Bickering and arguing on here is likely to indicate a sense of frustration for investors while the SP isn’t able to catch a bid.

You did, something about using this BB as a way to analyse / track sentiment. Why anyone would benefit from that I have no idea.

Imagine also thinking the economic situation in SA has much of an impact on the fortunes of BMN, whom mostly sell to the US.

Derampers are desperate now as they know there's not long left until the positive news flow.

My guess is he's not a genuine investor. 'They' say they are in order to try and onside, make investors feel like he's in the same boat as them. Mind games, played by individuals that clearly benefit in a monetary way from those that sell (either paid to keep sentiment on BB's down or shorts - my guess the former).

Largo SP, up nearly 10% today - not seen any news out.

Given the wider market downturn today, it's not inconceivable we are starting to see the first signs of capital rotation. If Goldman Sach's predicted commodity super cycle plays out then it has to occur eventually.

Appears the SA / US arms debacle is fading, so that's one piece of FUD down, one to go with the US debt ceiling drama into next week.
