Could below 100 by Monday evening is the share price offer worth it

Cheers cas at least this may be a good indication of what the share price will achieve when gets back to normal say 2022

Funny just looking on historical share price in google finance of IAG and now showing 50% of what it was as the highest it ever achieved was 253 p . Is this an adjustment because of the share offer or just a mistake on googles webpage . If not a mistake then this is must be the real share price and it looks like it will only go to 300p a share when it recovers . Hope its just a computer error , is any one getting same info in google finance

Razad : what news are u reading the local rag have you not herd all major counties have to isolate for 14 days so business meeting s halted , holiday season just about finished , BA are running at 25 % , BA are cap in hand for investment. Business meeting are done more and more on the internet Where in god are they going to generate business . I was shocked this morning that the share price dropped so quick i was looking at going in at 100 but i think this has a more to drop eradicating the sp offer . Now im looking at 50 -75 before buying up

Hi damian yes i see where you are coming from i know EU countries are subsidising there own countries airline and questionable if lawful , but the facts are there we dont have a national airline but just in name only so as a tax payer i don t want to subsidise a foreign company and i believe we will be better off next year . Ba are in a good position . they have a good business model , if they can keep there costs down , wages down , keep there slot times and a cure for the virus , then they will bounce back but for the next 6 months , i will be waiting for the share price to go down sub 100 then im investing , yes a gamble but i think a structured one !! i hope

Business operations reduced to 25- 30 % also BA are worried they might loose there slot time to other airlines , if they keep there slot times or be allowed extend them with out flying it will be a good thing if they loose their slot time to a another airline how are they going to fly . Ba are not in control as outside factors and its these factors that are dictating the operation of BA not the BA business model

I think im going to wait till the share price goes below 100p then jump in for the long term If this does happen and i think it will then the sp offer was a waste of time

Well im not so sure this discounted offer is as good as it looks lets look at the next 6 months of trade
1. Children has returned back to school so no family holidays abroad and most have now 14 day isolation so that would mean 1 month holiday entitlement for 2 weeks respectively .
2. Most countries that offer winter sun holidays are so locked down that its not viable Asia Southern hemisphere etc
3. Business : Offices currently in the UK are at around 50 % full so many are working from home using video conferencing and its effective , thus will reduce person to person meetings , companies are using vid conf to great affect saving on flights 4. IAG do rely on Buisness class and with the current climate i know this has been reduced .

So IAG are holding out there cap for investors to fill up the cash coffers in a company that im my opinion has a reduced market in the future , i personally think this will drop to 100 - 125 p so im waiting to reinvest for the long term and i think i will not wait that long

Lawson mate there are a few on here who think they are top share traders lol ,no worries mate but i bet iag want to raise the share price as much as possible but I feel this will tumble in Sept , kids back at school , and Xmas coming up no money for flights and hols

Got to say last comment not sure has any one done a check on flights and how much they cost, check Skyscanner and you will find BA comes no where close to other airlines so how are they going to attract customers back when other airlines are cheaper . BA has virtually gone form the north of England and seems to think the world resolves round London umm idont think so i think they need to re evaluate what they are doing . The unions have to face facts bad as it is if they go on strike Big Mistake !!!

Looks like BA going for cheap flights another nail in the share drop coffin through your change in the grave as this may go below 100p

90 min testing will be a fantastic tool . Imagine testing 2 hours before your arrival at the airport results uploaded to the airlines booking system , arrive check in and fly , fail no flight and free re book this will certainly be a winner. But this will have to be done on a world stage to work effectively

DubleD: yes but the big question at what price will this bottom out then im in im just waiting like a vulture to clean up and wait a few years before cashing in . I know we are all thinking the same
