Hi george have you seen this from UK Investor 30/10/2020 : International Airlines Group (LON: IAG) has reported a €5.56bn loss for the first nine months of the year.
The British Airways owner posted a huge loss as passenger numbers have plunged amid the pandemic this year.
Compared to the pre-tax profit of €1.4bn last year, IAG is calling airport testing and the ending of the two-week quarantine.
Loks like to me there burning too much money

Well i was going to invest next week until with the news i have heard this morning on Mars show it looks like the gov has asked for no international travel as well as a national lockdown so i feel this price will tumble to my estimated price of sub 75p , it may go lower so im going to keep swimming around with the other sharks and watching . One slight good news that a vaccine of some sort may be ready by jan feb 2021 but not guaranteed it will cure . i know how it feels to be down im 53% down with my lloyds but will soldier on as it will come back like IAG but when who knows !!!!

Hi Looks like to me tis has bottomed out i can not see this going below 90 , yes i thought it would hit 75 but looks like time to invest . Any logical thoughts why i should not buy around the 90 mark !!!

Teddy : Yes with this covid its going to drop but to say a aircraft company could use any aircraft is really none starter mate . airlines used aircraft that are efficient and can make money like any other company for instance would you bring back British Leyland cars to use as taxis err no because t you would be spending your profit on repairing the rust . I used to work on the vc 10 Qween of the skys but economical umm no it was too old even for the air force so they had to ditch them .

George yes i think your right and jjwd i think 2025 will be a good target for normality , just think if the sandy friends get there hands on iag they would virtually rule the sky and could put many national airline companies under the cosh , just my thoughts but could happen no one to stop them . A short full ban on flying into the uk might just put the brakes on covid19 but would they !!!!!

George to be fair A380 could be a useful tool as business class reduces it could be a money maker and can be easily fitted out for cargo .Personally like the dreamliner to travel on as found more space and airy than a380 but i fear the air corridors have locked the doors at both ends

George: Yes less aircraft but less profit , or is BA actually now running at a very big loss and may take 5 years to come back to normal .
