RE: Good Enough For Donald16 May 2019 09:38
Morning Trump basher. So Donald is coming on his own is he? Please take your prejudices and stick them where the sun never shines. He is the most powerful man in the world whether you like it or not.
Donald Trump will be accompanied by some of the richest and powerful people in America and in the world. And, according to you, they are all going to sit down and eat mcdonald's burgers in a grotty hotel. Not only that, but when he visited the UK last year he brought 1,000 staff with him. In your opinion, he is going to feel very lonely this year all on his own looking out at the Atlantic while his entourage stays in somewhere more luxuriant.
Obviously he will fly into Shannon where I am sure there will be a burger van waiting for him on the tarmac, a Ford Focus to sweep him away followed by a few donkey and carts as he heads out to Doonbeg.
Get real. If he comes to Doonbeg as President of the US, which will be a major coup for Ireland, it will be a major event and then you expect him to go to a "grotty" hotel out on the coast where the spiders crawl around and the place is dirty. What do you think the Americans would think of the Irish when it is beamed back to them?
I think you should contact him and suggest other places where he would be better suited since you are such an expert on top class hotels around the world and especially in Ireland. Perhaps he could stay at Bunratty Castle or even choose one from the following list of luxury hotels in Ireland.

Oh, silly me, I see Doonbeg is in the list and is "highly rated" which is even higher than the K Club, Mount Juliet, Carton House Maynooth, places I have stayed and played golf and I would still rate Doonbeg far better than any of them as does, obviously, this list.
Sorry friend, your criticism does not stack up and I believe you are in a majority of none.
Get real.
